Oldies on 1090? |
|
Friday, April 24 2020
The person running KBOZ has first hand insisted theres no music in the 1090 play out computer, which i now believe. So I'm further confused as to what in the heck I'm hearing!

Oldies on 1090? |
|
Friday, April 24 2020
Despite what has been said on here, I'm really beginning to think my mystery 1090 with oldies is KBOZ Bozeman, MT. Those same 3 songs.. the Surfaris, Beach Boys and Kingsmen in a loop over and over for 15-20 minutes, playing at the same time two days in a row? That sounds like a move to just shove whatever you c an through the airchain to keep the transmitter warm and license alive. No one is going to go after a station for playing 3 old songs for 2 weeks. There is ZERO LOGICAL explanation for my mystery 1090 being anyone else other then 1090. Its no one in Mexico, there's no applications or construction permits for new 1090's in the USA and there's no 1090's at all in Canada. I've pretty much ruled out every single other 1090 in the US. I'm going to drop a line to a well known Montana broadcast engineer to see if he can shed some light on this
