Bangla Desh: 4750 kHz |
|
Wednesday, December 25 2019

BANGLA DESH 4750even kHz Noted Bangladesh Betar’s endless 1000 Hertz TEST TONE signal, frome tune-in 13.04 til 13.11:50 UT,followed by subcontinental Flute Pause interval tone signal melody S=9+30dB in remote SDR at Delhi, at 13.12 UT on Dec 25. The pause signal audiowise sounds very good, as if the test tone and the pause signal come directly from TX house nearby. Without long detours via the public feeder network from the BGD capital Dhaka BC House ? 73 wb ----- Original Message ----- From: "Glenn Hauser via Groups.Io" <wghauser=yahoo.com@groups.io>
Sent: Wednesday, December 25, 2019 3:16 AM Subject: [WOR] Bangla Desh: 4750 kHz Bangladesh - There was a report, that Bangladesh Betar’s 4750 kHz was returned to the home service. On 24 December 2019, 4750 kHz was heard at 1800 h UTC in Europe with news from the English external service. The modulation was distorted but in a kind of parallel with the delayed internet stream at https://betar.portal.gov.bd/site/page/de73eea4-5e38-456f-a094-dde9aa140511 My chrome and firefox browsers always warn me against accessing the website of Bangladesh Betar. Every time I log into the internet stream, there is advertising in German before I get the original audio stream of Bangladesh Betar. Subject: Re: [WOR] Fw: Anker Petersen Tips from DenmarkIn this log I noticed 2 things in the transmitter location part in South Korea. First is with the 3915 kHz ... Goyang, South Korea Maybe it is good to mention that other sources are using another romanization of this location as Koyang. The second is with the 4885 kHz ... Taereung site. Formerly I found only Nowon-gu as the transmitter location in other publications. (Nowon is the name of a district of Seoul, the capital of South Korea. The gu at the end of the word is the word "district" in Korean - according to the Wikipedia.) When is this location changed from Nowon-gu to Taereung? Was someone located the transmitter's site more accurately than the previous sources mentioned? Maybe I missed something.
