Thanks for the reports Paul and Richard.    Here, "normal" conditions 
prevailed until about 1440UT (big guns with audio, little guns 
popping up from time to time), but by 1500UT (30 minutes before local 
sunrise)   things had gotten very thin indeed.
I notice the auroral zone has fattened up in the last few hours, so I 
suspect only the earlier birds got much DX.

As for Nov 20th, nadda... I slept in because I was so tired and 
didn't get up till 1530UTC

some scrating data noise underneath like STANAG NATO signal.
Even in Europe the scratch jammer is not very strong,
some equal level of IRAN Internat at S=8-9 or -77dBm level.

against MW 1395 kHz, latter mediumwave signal was 42 seconds later than
