NEW ZEALAND Just heard 13840.008 kHz channel in AM mode from R NZi in
English. S=8-9 signal made it into remote SDR at Aberdeen-NJ-US east coast
at 02.12 UT on Aug 23. Talk on Brazilian phone caller, fight between
Brazilian national people and their president.

I've a long log made in time slot between 00.25 UT and 02.12 UT,
but I'll go to bed now.


Will send the full log in the coming European morning.

Strange highlights to mention:
WBCQ not 9330 kHz, but on 7490.162, 5130.365 kHz different programs?
4765even R Progreso already at 00.35 UT.
4980 WRMI SMTV program like ?
5040even RHC French ? S=8 strong in NJ.
5850 WRMI R Slovakia 00.48 UT
5950 WRMI hard-rock guitar mx
5970 WEWN Sp S=8-9
5990 CRI Quivican La Haban Cuban relay, Sp S=9+15dB

9490 kHz odd unstable TDF Issoudun signal,
wandered 10 to 35 Hertz up and down, mostly 9490.035 ... kHz
S=9+30dB R Republica anti-Cuban Radio,
in western Canada: S=9+5 in Edmonton Alberta CAN.

9535.002 kHz CUB RHC Sp Bejucal site 01.37 UT
9570even CRI En via European relay site Cerrik ALB, S=9+25dB, and
9580even kHz CRI via CUB at 01.39 UT,
same signal, content, but 1.5 seconds delay via Quivican on Cuba island.
9605 rather 9604.993 kHz lower sideband flank, KBS Seoul likely progr ?
dull western pop mx program, why no Far Eastern Asia culture program?
via Furman SC relay site. 11 kHz wideband signal, excellent audio
quality, KBS Spanish sce, native Mexican/Cuban Sp presenter.
9690even kHz REE Noblejas, S=9+30dB 01.45 UT, talk on excellent
Spanish food productos, gourmand restaurants in western Europe.
and same 11940even kHz, but latter meant to more SoAM? target ?
only S=7-8 fluttery.

11780.009 kHz R Nac Amazonia Brasilia, S=6 fair and fluttery at 02.03 UT

Surprisingly
11905even kHz fq of SLBC Trincomalee 125 kW 345degr via Arctic path and
Northern Europe, S=8 at 02.06 UT, subcontinental female singer.
(heard also some 3 x Kashgar western China Spanish outlets in 31 and 25 mb)

maintenance period they may fire up each frequency briefly even outside

Indeed, this could have been RNZI. There was a brief bit of English
language audio during the initial tune up and this could very well have
been Kiwis. So, just a test or has RNZI changed their schedule? Only one
transmitter still operational?
