(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

CUBA. 13780, Oct 15 at 1455, weak signal, finally recognizable as
Spanish, so must be RHC, but unseems // much stronger 15140 & 11760.
Out of synch? By 1605, only 11760 on air, VG S9+5 into Miramar FL SDR
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

ROMANIA. 11800, Oct 15 at 2159, surprised to hear RRI IS, weak
direct; English at 2200 had been on 9740 in A-season, too low for us
in summer and intended only for W Europe, but no trace of that now. At
2240 into UTwente, 11800 is only VP, and no 9740. RRI website claims
this transmission be on 9740 only: they can`t even convey own schedule
accurately; something`s botched at Bucharest. HFCC shows both
registered, Galbeni, 300 kW at 300 degrees; as alternates? Or in
better times, both.
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

TURKEY. 11785, Oct 15 at 2158, no signal from VOT direct in
English, nor by 2202; but next check 2217 now it`s on, S9+20/30
direct, music and English. Something`s always erroneous at Emirler

``FYI to understand RadioCom Romania and RRI foreign sce in A-25 and

each of their two bcast centers, always according of their azimuth /

Re:  Radio Romania International.  {translated by wb.}

Since August 1, 2023, RRI has been broadcasting "temporarily" on only
one frequency (instead of the usual two simultaneously) per target
area. However, two frequencies per broadcast will continue to be
coordinated and programmed into the respective transmitter controls.

In Galbeni and Tsiganeshti, only one of the two transmitters will
actually be switched on. In the event of maintenance work or defects
in the transmitter that was actually intended to be used, the other
transmitter will be switched on as a replacement - with the "second
frequency" that has already been programmed.

These alternative frequencies can best be found in the HFCC table:
<https:new.hfcc.org/data/schedbyfmo.php?seas=A25&fmor=ROU>

In Galbeni, all broadcasts have apparently been running on the "other"
transmitter for about three days and thus on the other frequencies,
e.g., Romanian 1300-1500 UTC temporarily on 17780 kHz instead of,
15340 kHz. So as long as the announced nightly 9740 kHz 0300-0400 UT
RRI English towards NoWeAM via Galbeni site is not working, the
program will be available on 11620 kHz (or perhaps 17790 kHz).
