perfect webcast from WYSU with `Pipedreams` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. 250.0 kHz, Aug 9 at 2205, JBA carrier, but no beacons
listed anywhere near close enough for daytime. Finally conclude it`s a
mixing product, more likely receiver than transmitters, between 1640
KZLS and 1390 KCRC Enid, which are siblings, 250 kHz apart! But at
widely divergent sites (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR)

** SPAIN. 15500 & 15520, Sat Aug 9 at 2159, non-English REE still
missing from these two, but active on 15390 & 17715 only (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY [and non]. 11785, Sat Aug 9 at 2157, talk rather than IS,
maybe wrong feed, Turkish? 2158 switch to VOT IS & English IDs,
S9+10/20 direct. Roughly equal to 11780 Brasil. No time to listen
further but not off the air this time (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 11660.019, Sun Aug 10 at 1651, VOT S9+15/25 into UTwente,
Cemre starting `Letterbox` with comment about sunbathing, hot season;
slim reports, short show: 1) Jayanta Chakraborty, New Delhi - as
almost every week. 2) --??, Penang, Malaysia. 3) Anatoly Klepov, ed.
of RUS`-DX, wants QSL for August. 4) --??, Lithuania, heard 17615,
which must have been Tatar at 1000-1030 per EiBi. 5) finally, --??,

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2307 monitoring: confirmed Saturday
August 9 at 2100 on WRMI 9395, S9/+10 into Knoxville SDR. Preceded by
gospel huxter about some event coming up for Passover *2016*, i.e.
Classic Redneck Radio scheduled. I guess they are ``Christian Jews``,
``messianic``.

Also confirmed Saturday August 9 at 2230 on WRMI 15770. Very poor prop
conditions prevent any signal or any more than JBA carrier at usual
SDR spots, Georgia, Tennessee, Maryland, UTwente -- but JB audible
S3/S5, enough to confirm into NH KiwiSDR, congrats.

From now and for an unknowntime, at least for 3 years, I will not use any radio except the remote SDRs forDXing. Recently we moved from the village back to the city in a space thatprohibits the use of desktop DXing, a place flooded by high levels of noise inthe LMHF bands. The radio is now used mostly for FM, for news listening.we runpolitically lively condition with always very interesting twits every day ..

on WWCR, we resort to SW of WWCR-2 since one stream link plays the
commercial over and over, and the other is dead. Normally blasts in on
12160, but weak and fadey today with propagation disturbance, K index
5.33 with G1/R1 storms per WWV (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 1360+, Aug 9 at 0655, LAH on plus side. MWoffsets has
nothing near reported this year, but the only one so far off was this:
1360.0340 USA WWOW (Conneaut, OH) 2020-03-25
Still existed as of a year ago in 2024/25 NRC AM Log, U1 5000/35
watts. Conneaut is at the extreme NE corner of OH, as far as possible
from here; but transmitter site is not in PA per radio-locator (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)
