B25 SCHEDULE LINX so far to Aoki/NDXC, HFCC; EiBi, FCC not yet: http://www.worldofradio.com
DX/SWL/MEDIA PROGRAMS partially updated Oct 27 for standard time in Europe, but not until after Nov 2 for most North American entries, notably WRMI where some frequencies stay at same UT, others shift an hour: http://www.worldofradio.com/dxpgms.html
** AUSTRALIA. 18135 USB, Oct 27 at 2203, ham with Oz accent spells name as MOZ, but never hear his callsign in next 10 minutes, just US contacts who only mention their own calls. No hits on DX Heat/Cluster but QRZ.com can be searched on names, so I do that on this unusual one: 7 hits in their entire database, three in UK, one each in Italy, Brasil, Mexico, and: ``VK3CWB Maurie "MOZ" MILANI MILDURA, VIC. 3502`` which leads to https://www.qrz.com/db/VK3CWB ``VK3CWB Australia flag Australia, Maurie "MOZ" MILANI, PO BOX 2742, MILDURA, VIC. 3502, Australia`` with some interesting comments about CW vs phone, CW etiquette, Non-QSLing, Ragchewing and lots of other odd stuff (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 11760, Oct 28 at 1906, S6/S7 of dead air in English from RHC; NO signals on 13780, 15140 or 15230. 11760 still dead at 1943. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA [non]. R. Martí is off at 2159 check Oct 27, none of the three earlier frequencies, nor the later ones available. Steven Luce says they all signed off at 2100 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** JAPAN [and non]. 11815, Oct 28 at 1410, token English from NHK, news, then rare earths problem. S5/S7 direct but totally readable with VG modulation, atop some CCI, perpetual collision with CRI English via Urumqi, EAST TURKISTAN, land of imperialist ChiCom genocide against Uyghurs and other Moslems. R. Japan aims 235 degrees from Yamata, so we are close to off-the-back 55 degrees. Only one other NHKWRJ English semihour is now at 0500 on 11735, 155 degrees via FRANCE, unchecked yet, but both usually audible in N America despite NHK`s best efforts to avoid us (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** KURDISTAN [non]. 11520, Oct 28 at 1407 JBA talk here, S4/S5 probably Denge Gel via ARMENIA; while on 11545 is S7/S8 direct of militaristic music, probably Turkish jammer (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** OKLAHOMA. RF 17, K17JN-D, Enid`s only local TV signal, as of Oct 28, is still OFF, not a peep since June 11, but still in rabbitears.info without being Xed out, despite my informing them and reminding, which I have just done once again. When on, it would constantly mis-ID as K17JI-D, never noted in re.info either --- now, he`s Xed it:
https://www.rabbitears.info/market.php?request=station_search&callsign=k17jn (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** TURKEY. 5960.002-, Oct 27 at 2300 VOT TS and s/on by Efsun, S9+20/30 into UTwente. Some lite CCI underneath, Chinese? B25 HFCC shows nothing else supposed to be on at this time, Urumqi from 2330. But Aoki/NDXC B25 shows Xinjiang at 2300-2400. A few minutes after 2300, VOT a JBA carrier direct in so-called N American service (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2318 monitoring: confirmed Monday October 27 at 2030.5 on SW Gold Radio, Germany, 3975.001+, S8/9+10 into UTwente, and not on 6160 with ACI.
Also confirmed UT Tuesday October 28 at 0330 on WRMI 7780, S9 into S Texas SDR.
Also confirmed Tuesday October 28 at 1300 on WRMI 9955, S8/S9 direct. Music plays right up to 1300, no ID.
Also confirmed Tuesday October 28 at 1400 on WRMI 9955, S7/S9 direct. From next week: 1400 & 1500 instead. Next:
2100 UT Tuesday IRRS SW via AM Italia 1323; 2330 UT Tuesday SW Radio, Germany 3975; 0030 UT Wednesday WRMI 9395 to NNW; 2030 UT Wednesday SW Radio, Germany 3975 & 6160; 2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW; 2330 UT Wednesday WRMI 9395 to NNW; 0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S; 1730 UT Thursday SW Radio, Germany 3975 & 6160.
WOR schedules dated Oct 26 have now been partially updated for non-DST shifts in Europe, not yet for North America: http://www.worldofradio.com/radioskd.html
Financial support for this non-commercial program appreciated, via PayPal, not necessarily in US funds, to woradio at yahoo.com
One may also contribute by MO or check on a US bank to: Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 5085, WTWW: I may have missed a bit, but I don`t think it was on the air the last three evenings between 01 & 03 UT, UT Oct 26-27-28. What`s wrong now? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
UNIDENTIFIED. 830, Oct 28 at 0644 UT, WCCO getting considerable QRM from another talk station in English, thought I heard AC 701 mentioned - but that`s North Dakota, no 830s there; maybe network show. Best guess would be WUMY Memphis TN, 5 kW ND daytimer. address in suburban MS but site really in TN, AC 901. Has a translator on 105.5 which would account for nighttime programming. WUMY format is now religion in English, ex-Spanish (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** ALGERIA. 891 kHz, Oct 27 at 0605 UT, het upon WLS. Long time since I`ve heard this, presumed rather than a Cuban spoiler. No other TA carriers noted but not a thoro scan, no 531 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 15230, Oct 27 at 1350, RHC with S9 of almost dead air, except scratchy modulation peaks; also on weaker 13780 with mod and 15140 with its squeal. Also 11760 at 1427, S6/S8 music. Somethings always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA [non]. 15380, Oct 27 at 1603, R. Martí on new Greenville/Grimesland frequency as B25 registered, VG S9 into Ft Lauderdale SDR. Seems sporadic operation, but better be on every day now --- and night? --- as Hurricane Melissa is heading toward eastern Cuba, talking about that. Also on 13820 S9+10, which is the usual B-frequency instead of A-frequency 13605; and 11930 S6/S8 but not 11860, that replaced by 15380? Not on 15330 either, a new registered channel. In addition to the usual 9, 7 and 6 MHz frequencies later into evening, these are available as in HFCC: 15380 16-21, 15330 16-21, 13820 15-22, 11930 14-24, 11860 14-23 UT (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** FRANCE. 21660, Oct 27 at *1500, Issoudun cuts on with music, S8/S9 into Azores SDR; 1502 French lady into marine weather for Mini TransAt race. VG signal, but JBA pulsetones underneath as if jamming, but nothing else here to victimize. At 1509 she switches to English: ```Hi, everybody...`` 1516 mixes languages. In both she`s repeatedly saying ``November`` and ``Whiskey`` to make it absolutely clear that the geo coordinates cited are North, and West --- where else in this TA environment?? Into Maryland remote it`s S6/S8; 1537 into music until chopoff at 1600* sharp (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** MEXICO. 660 kHz, Oct 27 at 0608 UT, Mexican NA, into ID as ``ABC Deportes, Monterrey``; and at 0612 slogan ``sabemos cómo se juega``, ``La Bamba``. It`s XEFZ, 10/1 kW. Dominant among QRM, not including KTNN which has been off for over a week - and when on, would be well heard here only when failing to direxionalize away from NYC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** NORTH AMERICA. 12100 USB, Oct 27 at 1740, pirate music, S4/S6 into N9AZZ IL remote. Tnx tip in the WOR indian ocean group at 1730: ``Mix Radio International on 12100 USB --- I've been listening via an SDR in Wisconsin since about 1650 UTC. This pirate's playing contemporary electronic music with IDs every few minutes or so. Upon checking, I can hear this station via SDRs from the East Coast out to Utah right now. But it's not making it out directly to the Pacific Northwest so far. Eric Fetters-Walp, Lake Stevens, Washington`` ID finally at 1748. Still going at 1835, 1857, 1901, 1912, 1958, 2010+ chex. Audio is quite tinny at least via this remote (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** PHILIPPINES. 11599.98, Oct 27 at 1428, Chinese, at first assumed CNR1, or rather Sound of Hope since slightly off-frequency - but FEBC now scheduled from Iba site at 1400-1600, 100 kW at 300 degrees (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** TURKEY. 5960, Oct 27 at 2300, VOT is JBA direct with timesignal, opening English at new B25 time and frequency (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** TURKEY. 6125.005+, Oct 27 at 0400, VOT English to NAm, VG into UTwente, new B25 time and frequency; also 7285.017- S9/+20 for S Asia off the back. This transmission always swaps 49 and 41 mbs for these targets from season to season. Now it`s INTRUDING into N American hamband; why do HFCC & ITU allow this? S/on now claims it`s 1330 on 13635, which is the first and only English broadcast daily, replayed five times, so by 0400 UT next day, the ``news`` is really OLDs! (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** TURKEY. 13635, Oct 27 at 1345, VOT English, S5/S7 direct. Only now the IDs would be correct when claiming to be on 13635 during all English repeats. For B25 replaces 17620 at 1230. It`s 250 kW at 310 degrees for W Europe, and incidentally onward USward (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** TURKEY. 15350, Oct 27 at 1351, S7/S9 of strumming, 1353 Turkish announcement, 1355 TRT IS, off by 1400. It`s 0700-1400 at 300 degrees for W Europe but keeps on going (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U K [non]. 7285, Oct 27 at 0558, BBC S7 in English. Via ASCENSION this hour 05-06 only; unlike Turkey an hour earlier, this is not intruding into our hamband as it`s aimed 65 degrees for Africa; and only half-power 125 kW (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2318 monitoring: confirmed Sunday October 26 at 2000 on IRRS SW via AM Italia, 1322.996-, S9 into UTwente, preceded by 7290 s/off announcement - still sked there daily 19-20 in B-25.
Also confirmed Sunday October 26 at 2100 on WRMI 15770.000+, S8/9+10 into UTwente where aimed.
Also confirmed Sunday October 26 at 2300 on WRMI 9395, S9+5/20 direct.
Also confirmed Sunday October 26 at 2330 on WRMI 9455, S9+40 into Georgia SDR.
Also confirmed UT Monday October 27 at 0030 on WRMI 9455, S9/+10 into Georgia SDR, fading down considerably from an hour before.
Also confirmed UT Monday October 27 at 0040 the 0030 on WRMI 7780, S9+5 into S TX SDR.
Also confirmed UT Monday October 27 from 0301 on Area 51 webcast only. JL ``gotta go`` at 0300 after WBCQ 5130- was already signing off. IDs from RNYI, 11-L radio at 0259.
Also confirmed Monday October 27 from 1701 on The Global Voice webcast: https://www.theglobalvoice.info/ Next:
2030 UT Monday SW Radio, Germany 3975 & 6160; 0330 UT Tuesday WRMI 7780 to SW [resumed last week]; 1300 UT Tuesday WRMI 9955 to SSE [also web-, phonecast]; 1400 UT Tuesday WRMI 9955 to SSE [also web-, phonecast]; 2100 UT Tuesday IRRS SW via AM Italia 1323; 2330 UT Tuesday SW Radio, Germany 3975; 0030 UT Wednesday WRMI 9395 to NNW; 2030 UT Wednesday SW Radio, Germany 3975 & 6160; 2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW; 2330 UT Wednesday WRMI 9395 to NNW; 0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S; 1730 UT Thursday SW Radio, Germany 3975 & 6160.
** U S A. 1470, Oct 27 at 0600 UT, ID mentions 100.3, into Fox `news`. Only obvious match in NRC AM Log is WMBD Peoria IL, U4 5/5 kW, the 100.3 only a mere translator, W262BY. Night pattern somewhat pulled in to the SW, but not a notch (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

I've still not decided whether to leave it here under Belgium, or to move it to Ivory Coast. Feedback on this is welcome.) 3) Cuba - R Havana Cuba: Updated link to primary live stream link. 4) Japan - R Japan: Added UTC offset notation for link to programme schedule (previously times were in UTC, but are now being listed in JST). 5) Nepal - R Nepal: Added links to Radio Nepal (thanks to Jose Jacob in WOR iog mail list 6) Netherlands - R Delta Int: Added link to Facebook page. 7) Netherlands - R Veronica: Added UTC offset notation for link to programme schedule 8) Romania - R Romania Int: Updated links to frequency schedules to pages containing new B-25 schedule 8) Spain - REE: Updated link to frequencies to new page detailing B-25 schedule (Thanks to Sebastian Schlüter in WOR iog mail list)
The next update is scheduled for next week (for DST changes in the Americas). Best wishes and 73, Alan Roe
** CANADA [and non]. For the first time this ``season``, audible some Y-beacons besides 346 YXL Sioux Lookout ON, which is stronger than usual, Oct 26 at 0642 UT, i.e.:
353 MCW kHz, Oct 26 at 0638 dash and PG mixing with LI Little Rock AR. PG is at PortaGe La Prairie MB, 25 watts! per DXinfocentre.com rather than most Canadians stronger. PLP is in the south midway between Brandon and Winnipeg. No Y prefix call, why not?
300 MCW kHz, Oct 26 at 0643 UT, dash and YIV: 500 watts at Island Lake MB. 382 MCW kHz, Oct 26 at 0648 UT, dash and YPL: 1000 watts at Pickle Lake ON. 328 MCW kHz, Oct 26 at 0657 UT, dash and YTL, 1000 watts at Big Trout Lake ON.
OTOH, many of my `regular` closer beacons are weaker than usual or missing; See USA (Glenn Hauser, Enid OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 13780, Oct 26 at 1446 and still 1503, when Esperanto should be airing for one more week before changing to 1600 Sundays as a running dog of Yanqui DST imperialism, just S6/S9 of dead air from RHC, where something`s always wrong. Likewise 11760 S5/S7. Not on: 15230 or 15140 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** FRANCE. 21660, Oct 26 at 1501, Mini-TransAt marine weather in French by YL voice has just resumed via ISSoudun, S7/S9 into Maryland SDR. The boatracers are setting out from Canary Islands for Guadeloupe across the Atlantic. Also in English later in daily hour; ex-17545 for the closer first leg out of France (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** HUNGARY. 21448.7 USB, Oct 26 at 1440, HG3N calling CQ Contest; he doesn`t hear many of the USA replies that I do. QRZ.com: ``HG3N Hungary flag Hungary, Csaba Nagy, Nagybereny, Hungary -- Contest callsign for HA3LN. For more details:`` http://ha3ln.hu/ (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** SPAIN. 12030, Oct 26 at 1933, REE NF for ME, VG off the back to Maryland SDR during sports, also VG still on 17715 for S America, weak 17755 for Africa, and still NO N American frequency, supposed to be 9690, Remember, English scheduled Wednesdays only at 2300-2400, tho last week started late (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** TURKEY. 9660.018+, Sun Oct 23, S9+20/25 into UTwente, VOT English new time and frequency: 1743 `The Pulse of Turkish Foreign Policy`. 1751 ``always-by-your-side`` promo, music. 1756 multi-lingual ID filler reel. 1758 `Letterbox` theme, Cumre says it`s chilly in Ankara, but glad she`s there since arriving as a university student in 2000. Autumn is the best season.
1) Walter Grubehr?, Harz Mountain, Germany. Plans to visit Turkey twice in Autumn and Spring; two reports. 2) Jamahar? Almeida, Goa, India, has visited Istanbul and Ankara, loves the food such as baklava, Turkish Delight. UN agency says Turkey is the fourth-most-visited country with 56 megatourists [!] in 2024y. 3) Mohammed Breyel, Malaysia, with extremely detailed reports. Will reply not only with a QSL but a ``thank-you gift``. [has lite QRM from very strong 9650 signal; HFCC B25 shows only two imaginary Russians at this time]. 4) Jayanta Chakroborty, India, wants to contact that listener in Finland called recently; maybe, station must respect privacy. 5) Mr Blake Lindsay, Merced, California, heard Spanish on 9871 [sic]. 6) Woman, Lin?, where? has not got any QSLs despite several letters and reports. So here is another: Chinese, via UTwente heard. Meticulous QSL manager says they were sent, maybe postal problem. 7) finally, Mr. Peter Ice [? sounds like], Johore Bahru, Malaysia. 1820 wrapup, and recites new English times and frequencies, but omits the 0400 one! 1822 theme (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. None new, but some beacons not often audible, as northerly are also in better, see CANADA.
365 MCW kHz, Oct 26 at 0646 UT, AA, 100-watt NDB at Fargo/Harwood ND, from site across the River Red in MN.
400 MCW kHz, Oct 26 at 0650 UT, AHQ, 25-watt NDB at Wahoo NE.
293 MCW kHz, Oct 26 at 0655 UT, FBY, my furthest `regular`, 25 watts at FairBurY NE, now mixing with another, UI, 30 watts at qUIncy IL.
335 MCW kHz, Oct 26 at 0659 UT, BV, 25-watt NDB at BatesVille AR. (Glenn Hauser, Enid OK, WOR)
** U S A. Due to the Week of Confusion, DST off in Europe, still on in North America, I expected WORLD OF RADIO airings on WRMI to be affected. Had been at 1030 UT Sunday, some weeks ago confirmed not only on 9955, but also 9395, 7780 and 7730. 1030 was the WOR time on WRN feed being relayed. But WRN has already moved everything one UT hour later, so at 1130 could we still be on any WRMI SW frequency? As I prefer to sleep, asked others already awake to check. Tnx to Joe Hanlon, Dave White, Zacharias Liangas, who all reported NO WORs to be heard now at either time. Also I was awake anyway without really trying and found the same. At 1040, 9955 was OFF, but 9395 was running ads from Ireland, must be RTE via WRN as previously scheduled at 09-10 UT; 7730 JBA and 7780 slightly stronger JBA. By 1130, 7780 off, 9955 on with something else, 9395 with songs. If WOR continue on the System B schedule at 6:30 am Sundays EST, maybe then will be at least on stream at 1130 UT.
As Joe reported: ``Hi, no WOR on those 4 WRMI channels at 1030 UT today (October 26). Heard RTE-Ireland on 9395 and 7780 at 1055 with weather report. Checked 9395 and 9955 at 1130 on Oct. 26 but WOR is not there; music on 9395 and gospel program on 9955. No signal on the 7 MHz channels you mentioned. Joe Hanlon, NJ``
``Hi Glenn, I was awake at 1130 UTC Sunday. I checked WRMI several times on 5850, 7730, and 9395, and the signal was reasonably strong, but your show wasn't on. I didn't hear a detectable signal on 7780 or 9955 although 9955 was easily copyable at 1201 UTC. I also checked all the other WRMI frequencies on the WRMI schedule grid at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1pcIEX8kisrOPqlXHDAq6gympKUgDj0SIb96qce2kGGQ/edit?pli=1&gid=0#gid=0 using my receiver and several South Florida Web SDRs, but I actually heard less detectable signals. I could hear a weak 15770 here, but it wasn't strong enough to confirm if your show was on. Doug White, KA5ETS, Using SDRplay SDRduo with SDRConnect and 53 ft vertical with 25 ft radials, Carrboro, NC``
Furthermore: ``World of Radio heard on IRRS this Sunday at 1030 on 9510 (+livestream). According to their schedule, it should be the religious French programme "Le siècle à venir" https://www.nexus.org/member-services/radio-and-tv/schedules/sunday-program-schedule/ Regards, Jean-Michel Aubier, France`` -- That may have been a one-off. Wolfgang Bueschel thinx it`s 100 kW via Saftica, Romania.
Also confirmed Sunday October 26 at 1947 the 1930 on SW Gold Radio, Germany, 3975.002+, S9+5/15 into UTwente [and 6160 is off due to CRI fill music service there]. Next:
2000 UT Sunday IRRS SW via AM Italia 1323; 2100 UT Sunday WRMI 15770 to NE; 2300 UT Sunday WRMI 9395 to NNW; 2330 UT Sunday WRMI 9455 to NW; 0030 UT Monday WRMI 9455 to NW [new] 0030 UT Monday WRMI 7780 to SW; 2030 UT Monday SW Radio, Germany 3975 & 6160; 0330 UT Tuesday WRMI 7780 to SW [resumed last week]; 1300 UT Tuesday WRMI 9955 to SSE [also web-, phonecast]; 1400 UT Tuesday WRMI 9955 to SSE [also web-, phonecast]; 2100 UT Tuesday IRRS SW via AM Italia 1323; 2330 UT Tuesday SW Radio, Germany 3975; 0030 UT Wednesday WRMI 9395 to NNW; 2030 UT Wednesday SW Radio, Germany 3975 & 6160; 2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW; 2330 UT Wednesday WRMI 9395 to NNW; 0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S; 1730 UT Thursday SW Radio, Germany 3975 & 6160.
WOR schedules dated Oct 26 have now been partially updated for non-DST shifts in Europe, not yet for North America: http://www.worldofradio.com/radioskd.html

** CUBA. 11760, Oct 26 at 0125, S9+20/25 of dead air from RHC, SAWA (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 5025, Oct 26 at 0138, S9+25/30 of dead air from R. Rebelde, a step up from completely off the air last night. As usual no 4765 Progreso at all. Somethings always wrong at RadioCuba (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 9580, Oct 26 at 0157, S9+5 of dead air from CRI relay. Something`s always wrong at RadioCuba (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CZECHIA [non]. 9955, Oct 26 at 0211, WRMI with classical music - could it be Encore? No, R. Praga in Spanish. Then something more jazzy (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** FRANCE. 5965-5970-5975, Oct 26 at 0219, DRM noise S9+10. HFCC B25 shows four different simulcasts at 0200-0300, or taking turns, or what? Also same 146 antenna, but different targets and azimuths: 232, 333, 280, 148 degrees (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** INTERNATIONAL VACUUM & INTERNET. WRN North America/Africa/Asia/Pacific stream, Oct 26 at 0356 UT concluding KBS World Radio hour now starting at 0300 instead of 0200. And Polish Radio from 0400. The fact that we are stuck with DST for another week doesn`t matter, and will impact how WRMI handles WRN relays, including WORLD OF RADIO, everything one UT hour later back to the standard times they should have stayed at. WRN website skeds still display A25 timings (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** ROMANIA. 9510, Oct 26 at 0132, RRI in Spanish, S9+20/25 with Victoria Sepciu presenting folk music, nice. With 9700, only significant Eurosigs on band. 0150 change to other music; 0154 Complete? ** TURKEY. 11785.004-, Sat Oct 25 at 2250, VOT not off the air in music, S9/+20 into UTwente. 2254 IS plays. 2256 restart IS with extraneous German IDs. 2300 timesignal and open German, then pull plug*. Something`s always erroneous at Emirler. From tomorrow in B25, English to N America will attempt to be on 5960 an hour later at 23-24 UT, probably worse reception into deep N America until mid-winter. So extraneous German will then be from 0056 on 5960. In case 5960 be missing, try 9610 as accidentalternate overrun from previous English 2130-2230 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2318 monitoring: ``Hi Glenn, I'm new to shortwave radio but recently signed up for the NASWA email list and wanted to let you know I got a kick out of randomly spinning the dials last night and coming upon your program. "Hey, I know that name!" I told myself, and felt like I must be getting somewhere in the world of shortwave. You may already know all of the following info - and apologies if you do, but like I said I'm new - it came through loud and clear on 5085 kHZ in northern Kentucky / right across the Ohio River from greater Cincinnati, this was at 11p ET. Confirmed Saturday October 25 at 1930 on WRN North America stream and WRMI 9395; while WRMI webcast not 9955 continues to play music instead of scheduled WOR.
Barely confirmed Saturday October 25 at 2005 on WA0RCR 1860 AM, MO, S5 JBA in HNL even into N9AZZ remote, but it`s my voice; unknown when it started after 1930v.

Confirmed Saturday October 25 at 2233 on WRMI 17790, instead of scheduled System K 15770, which was playing music, and not on 7730 either. Hope it continues, would be our only? airing on 17790, helpful for coverage. S7/9+15 into Maryland SDR. Doug White reports this time also on unlisted 5850.

** U S A. 5085, Oct 26 at 0139 and later chex, this WTWW is off again, but 5920 is on (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 17790, Oct 26 at 0128, JBA carrier, maybe remnant of WRMI which has been running until 0200, but even in B25 HFCC preview dated Oct 24, WRMI not registered beyond 2200! A Burmese clandestine via Taiwan has been running at 0200-0230 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. Confirmation of my obs Oct 25: 1090, KAAY, Little Rock AR, began operating with the new night pattern last evening, Friday, per the provisions of 47CFR73.1615(b)(6). So the STA operation nondirectionally nighttime is now terminated. UNIDENTIFIED. 28290, Oct 26 at 0130, zero hamsigs, beacons or phone on 10m in degraded propagation, yet WWV reported at 0000, K index of 0.67, no storms; at 0300 K index of 1.00, no storms! ** CUBA. 15230, Oct 24 at 2223, S9+10 of dead air or maybe JBM. Something`s always wrong at RHC. 13780 with some mod in weaker Spanish (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 15230, Oct 25 at 1425, S3/S5 of dead air from RHC where something`s always wrong. I`m really mystified why anystation would do this, totally pointless. Do transmitter operators not realize there is no mod? Just following orders? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CHILE. 28525 USB, Oct 24 at 2213, CE2LE, Carlos working an Illinois. QRZ.com: ``CE2LE Chile flag Chile, Carlos Aranda Albornoz, PO Box 107, La Serena 1700000, Chile``. Lots of signals on 10m phone and beacons, relogs (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** FRANCE. 21660, Oct 25 at 1526, no signal yet from Mini-TransAt weather. Christian Ghibaudo says this will not start until Oct 26 at 1500 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** GUAM [and non]. It`s the final day on air from KTWR. Via KFS remote on NW antenna, Oct 25 at 1452, nothing but heavy pulsing noise jamming on 9900. But at 1459, KTWR becomes audible underneath, s/on in English with ID, frequency and 1500 into Korean, jamming unabated. Direct I have only a JBA carrier under the noise. This is a one-hour broadcast, and the final final will be 1600-1630****** in Tamil in DRM on 15390.
9900, listening again at 1557, now KTWR is better vs jamming, Korean talk, 1559 bit of organ music and standard s/off in English, no mention of this momentous occasion, carrier off about 1600.4* Then via same remote from 1600, try 15390 for DRM, but not getting it. Surely a remote in India would. I try the Hyderabad, but internet outage here! Someone in Faridabad, India was already on it. Never audible here.
Meanwhile, Michael Andersson recorded the final AM sign-off: ``I was able to pick it up in good quality from our local Kiwi in southern Sweden, belonging to Malmoe Shortwave Club. No special announcement sadly but still a little historical...
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1oYq_Y4DAnPqJnDQM3nrwdoDN_Q-v3vuj/view?usp=sharing Cheers, Michael``
``I had a fairly good signal for the first 20 minutes of the Korean transmission on 9900 at 1500 UT. Past that it faded into noise and recovered by sign-off at 1600 UT. This is a scoped video aircheck via my RSP1b:
https://iframe.mediadelivery.net/play/502138/e1d65d3f-6810-4fa4-8d47-a9e926e68840 Tony Pavick, Hope BC`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** JAPAN. 6055 & 6115, Oct 25 at 0625 UT, R. Nikkei already audible JBA direct, about a sesquihour before earlier sunset, at 1525 local time. LSS at Chiba today was 0751 UT; earliest will be about 0725, when these should be in by 0600 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** MARTINIQUE [and non]. 21295 USB, Oct 24 at 2219, TO2M uttering call over and over in pileup, also much weaker JR3JFZ. Unclear who is trying to contact whom in some contest. QRZ.com: ``TO2M Martinique flag Martinique, Ken VE3LA, Ducos, Martinique, 73! See you in pileups.`` and:
``JR3JFZ Japan flag Japan, M. "Tani" NAKATANI, JCC#2407 GOJO-city, NARA, Japan`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** PHILIPPINES. 15540, Oct 25 at 1426, `Jesus Saves` IS, S5 with flutter direct. It`s FEBC Bocaue site about to start 1430-1500 Uighur (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** TURKEY. 11785, Oct 24 at 2159, no signal from VOT English direct, and still no signal into UTwente at 2236 check; something`s always erroneous at Emirler (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 2318 monitoring: Missed checking Friday October 24 at 2200 on WRMI 9955; anyone hear it?
Confirmed Friday October 24 at 2235 the 2230 on SW Gold Radio, Germany, 3974.991-, S8/S9 into UTwente. From next week: 2330
Also confirmed UT Saturday October 25 from 0259.8 on WTWW 5085, VG direct, again introduced as a ministry before cut to my opening.
Also confirmed Saturday October 25 at 0956 when I happen to awaken, the 0930 on WRMI 7570, and NOT on 9455 = off the air, despite longtime appearance in skedgrid for System D during that hour, error also affecting many other programs.
Also confirmed Saturday October 25 at 1448 the 1431 on SW Gold Radio, Germany, 6160.001+, S9+15 into UTwente with bit of RTTYditty on plus side; and not on 3975. From next week: at 1530 on both.
Also confirmed Saturday October 25 at 1556 the new 1530 on WRMI 9955, S7/S9 into Maryland SDR, JBA direct.
Also confirmed Saturday October 25 at 1602 the 1600 on WRN North America stream, and also on WRMI 9395, S7/S8 into Maryland remote; probably also 7730 but nothing but noise, trace of carrier there.
Also confirmed Saturday October 25 from 1731.6 on SW Gold Radio, Germany, into UTwente, 3975.002- S9+10 and 6160.001= S9+10/15 with RTTYditty and CRI English ACI from Beijing on plus side 6165. From next week: 1830 on 3975 only. Next:

** U S A. 9930, Oct 25 at 0130, WTWW announces changing frequency to 9930 in a few minutes, music. Wrong announcement, really about to change to 5920. Still on 9930 says now starting op on 9930, into gospel huxter. 0132 finally cuts off 9930 and 0133 up on 5920. Other transmitter already on 5085 by about 0100 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 9330 & 7489.9, UT Sat Oct 25 at 0000, WBCQ with `AAAWWW`, a new edition since he says it`s a week before Hallowe`en, and more talk about that. But first, during theme, ``on all kinds of transmitters, lasers...``, interjexion near end of `WTO` theme, ``pop tarts``? I don`t have time to listen more. I think it was also on 5130, maybe 6160, but 3265 off as usual (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 1090 kHz, Oct 25 at 0604 UT, the dominant gospel music signal of KAAY Little Rock seems gone; at least two stations mixing, maybe WBAL. Suspect KAAY may have made the big switch to low-power direxional signal N/S-ish (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 1390, re my ESPN station in absence of local KCRC, Greg Hardison says, ``Glenn: I have definitely noted louder-than-expected sigs from WTJF Jackson TN on several SDRs within a comfortable radius of the xmtr — White House, Knoxville & seemingly one in South-ish Illinois. This thing does get out fairly well. Also, ESPN gives much on-air credit to any & all sources of actuality audio, hence "The Game 95.7". 73z & Regards as Always, The other G H`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** URUGUAY. 28487 USB, Oct 24 at 2212, CX2UI calling CQ10 in Spanish and English. QRZ.com: ``CX2UI Uruguay flag Uruguay, FRANCISCO "FRAN" PEREIRA PIREZ, Colman 1575, Ciudad de Treinta y Tres 33000, Uruguay`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
