1529 when it`s in very well peaking S5/S9 with music; 1530 ID as Radio

Week in History such as a US atomic explosion on July 25, 1946? 1542
interview on phone with a guy at Base Alcala, I had not heard of
before. Web research leads to a Land Army of Spain operation with the
University of Alcala on Deception Island. They are stressing Alcála on
the middle-a instead of final-á as should be proper, until 1600.
Chopped off air abruptly at 1601*. I let it run until 1630, hearing
only some weak but very repetitive clicking (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** BRAZIL. 9664v, July 27 at 0604, no signal from RVM. There is JBA
carrier slightly below 9675, unlikely it, too weak: 9674.976. Only
scheduled is CNR1 Beijing 572 site, but not expected to be that far

** MADAGASCAR. 13709.949V, July 27 at 2033, S6/S8, Arabic wavering
slightly and certainly off frequency. This hour is WCB MWV, while
Sa`udi Arabia is also skewed from 13710 until 1757. MWV becoming
reliable in offfrequenciness (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6920- AM, slightly on minus side, July 27 at 0623
rock music S7/S8, 0633 announcement sounds like Radio Christian --
something, but no such music; deep fades but S9+10 peaks. I undoze at
0722 for another ID like that. Nothing reported this late in HFU,
altho Corn Desert Outpost was on 6920 USB earlier until 0210; but this
is probably it from 4 nights earlier:

missing token English broadcast from REE without explanation or
apology. S9+5/15 into Maryland SDR. Instead another episode in
Castilian of `Canciones Ténebres`, this one about Cuba. Something`s
missing from Madrid (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 9830.021, July 27 at 2256 tune-in, not too late for VOT; if
IS still playing this late after English, there will be German IDs
twice a minute, and so there are; 2300 IS and sign-on imaginary German
broadcast which is scheduled to SW air only at two much earlier hours,
one of them on 9840 as announced, but German now supposedly only on
webcast/satellite/program feed line. S9+35/45 with some hum;
sleepyrator finally wakes up and shuts it off at 2307.5* Something`s
always erroneous at Emirler (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

Also confirmed Wed July 27 from 2100:19.5 on WBCQ 7489.930, exact
timing correlated with WWV 10000 via same Maryland remote. Next:
