re Radio Voz Missionaria, Brazil 11749v

Thanks Rudolfo,
but today Sunday May 18 likely was early morning break in transmission service
on that channel.

5040v and 11749v were out of sce, when checked remotedly via
Perseus SDR in Edmonton-AB-CAN,
as well as Brasilia and Sao Paulo Brazil KIWI SDR sets.

Noted only poor weak signal in Alberta_CAN on 9665.009 kHz,
S=6 -87dBm poor signal in Brazilia remotedly,
co-channel with Beijing Mandarin CHN on even 9665.000 kHz.

Seemingly we reach the winter time propagation condition NOW
on shortwave of all stations located south of the 'Tropic of Cancer' latitude line in
southern winter season June / July months.

RNA Brazilia noted til (morning signing off time break ? ) 10.30 UT on 11780.011 kHz,
and behind that time at 11.08 UT
noted S=8 or -78dBm music performance signal in Brasilia remotedly,
this time on EVEN FRQY of 6180.000 kHz equal to Fuzuo China co-channel.
RNA Brasilia was ODDITY on lower fqy flank in past weeks recently,
but seemingly aligned frequency properly last week
NOW EVEN or 1 Hertz differ approximately on upper flank.

'Nove de Julho' 9818.528 kHz fqy was on fair signal level in Alberta-CAN,
S=7 -85dBm in Sao Paulo BRA also.
But suffered by nearby RTTY maritime pips heavy QRM on 9825.640 kHz at 11.00 UT.

Probably very weak signal of Inconfidencia-Brazil
on v6010.003 kHz S=5 or weak -93dBm signal even in Brazilia KIWI set
remotedly at 11.05 UT.

In Brazil and Sao Paulo also noted Rádio Saturno on 6149.955 kHz,
poor S=3-4 signal remotedly at 11.06 UT.

Subject: Romania changes frequencies

Radio Romania has changed many of its frequencies again. According to their website, this is because of a malfunction at the Tiganesti site:

"A malfunction has been recorded at one of the transmitters in Tiganesti, and we will temporarily be broadcasting on different frequencies." (dated 4 May 2025) The German section adds that the replacement transmitter is not capable of transmitting in DRM mode, while the Spanish section identifies the malfunctioning transmitter as BD 300-2 and the replacement transmitter as BD 300-1.

The new frequencies had been registered with HFCC from the beginning of the A-25 season but had been unused so far. The same had happened for parts of the previous season.

6140 kHz Radio Gloria. Hello, now 1830 UT Friday May 16 on 6140 kHz, I can
heard the swiss Catholic station "RADIO GLORIA", in German. Very nice
signal here in the south of France, but anyone know where is the trans-
mitter ?

Re: 6139.985 kHz - Radio Gloria.
Could it be the same as Radio Onda, that is Junglinster site in
Luxembourg?
(Michael Andersson; BrDXC-UK groups io news May 16)

LUXEMBOURG Radio Onda testing on SW 6140 kHz via
RTL) Junglinster Luxembourg bcast center.

Radio Magazine is reporting that Radio Onda has started tests on 6140 kHz
via Luxembourg. (nothing heard when checked here at 1800 UT - Dave Kenny)

Translated from French: LUXEMBOURG: It's the return of the short waves to
the historic transmitter centre of Junglinster. The transmitter of
the Belgian station Radio Onda has just been put into service at 6140 kHz
and is doing its first tests with a power of 1000Watt. A great success for
the station of the Brazilian community in Belgium that will be able to
cover Europe, in addition to its broadcast on the dab+ 12b of the Brussels
region.

The association has always wanted to broadcast in short air from Belgium.
Having received no follow-up to their applications for a Belgian licence,
they had turned to the Netherlands in recent years.

A licence had been granted to them immediately by the Dutch authorities,
but the broadcasting from that country has, over the years, been too heavy
for the station. Eventually, they turned to Luxembourg, where the minister
delegated to the Prime Minister, in charge of Media and Connectivity,
Elisabeth Margue, quickly granted them a licence.

The installation was made possible thanks to the amateur radios of Broad-
casting Center Europe, which are installed at the same site.
Radio Onda programs are sent from studios that are installed in a Belgian railway
station located in the Brussels district of Laeken.

Radio Onda, Bockstael Station, Avenue Emile Bockstael, 1020 Brussels,
Belgium.
