Australia VOLMET?  View Printable Version
Sunday, November 21 2021

HCDX
Hi, me again.
I have just checked the Aeronautical General Planning, EFB version, Australia, and found in Gen 3.5, dated 17/6/2021, Sydney Volmet 2965U on the hour. Also Sydney/Brisbane on 6676U & 11387U at H+00, H+ 30 UTC.
I have not been able to find anything else. Perhaps Covid-19 in Oz has changed things a bit.
Cheers,
Ken

The VOLMET used to be a regular, morning and sometimes evenings. Are they off the air? Is it permanent? 🙁

I think that's been going on for several years, Paul, aimed at North
Korea? Bill Whitacre will likely have a better idea.

Hearing the VoA ID here at 1700UT on 1566 marks a really good
morning, as it's well after local sunrise even in midwinter.
