**A surprising signal quality observed in São Bernardo, SP, 4,350 km away. Little fading, and no interference from any other Brazilian station, or even from any South American station. With the mass migration of Brazilian medium wave stations to FM, opportunities began to emerge to tune in to other South American stations from Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, and lastly, also from Bolivia, Colombia and now, Ecuador.
