S7/S9 direct. Not ELWA as one might guess but HCJB on air long past
usual 0500*, as tipped by Manuel Méndez, Spain who was still hearing
it after 0600. Anomaly or permanent change? If so, bad news for
coreligionist ELWA Liberia which starts a bit before 0600. EiBi shows
0500* daily tho used to be extended only on weekends, and 0230*v
weekdays. Also shows another overlap when both are on 6050,
*2100-2232*. ELWA has always been no better than JBA here around
0600.

after many weeks of almost afternoonly bandscans of nothing - English
with accent about 6m, mentions Panamá. Quickly worx UStations, says
humidity of 90-95% there is a hardship, finally fonetik ID as HP1XV,
not HP1AV as it first sounded. QRZ.com:

noticed DRM on my analog NRD-545 at 0051 UT August 31. It did not seem
to be centered on 6090, but roughly 6083-6094. I don`t have DRM
capability here so I brought up on the New Hampshire KiwiSDR:

VG reception of music only, no announcements or IDs heard but the
display showed Murrow Station, Greenville, and QSL requests to you.
Several songs followed with pauses, none in Spanish. I could not name
most of them until 0116 Beatles` Hard Days Night, but stopped at 0118
for transmitted silence, 0119 a variety of strange sounds as some
other song attempted. More of that at 0122 as I am about to dispatch
this.

I see that the drmrx schedule shows R. Marti 24 hours. This is the
first time I`ve run across tests on 6090. What are the actual
transmission hours? Does this really have anything to do with Marti?
Are you going to put that programming on it? Wonder if you will try
Journaline? I copied some of the parameters off the display, which no
doubt match what you are sending out. SNR varying 13.0 up to 15.5 dB.

I would be interested to know which GB# transmitter this is, what
brand, and what else it may be used for in AM. Are there any active

investigating this further. Would you believe that radio-locator.com
says this ``Christian Contemporary`` in KS is owned by FLORIDA PUBLIC

KREJ 101.5 ``Keep Ready Expecting Jesus``. Maybe transitioning to FPR

Friday-only Fulani language service of VOA, via remotes. At UTwente,
1629 no signal, *1630 carrier pops on at S9+25/35, and a few seconds
later, JIP modulation in progress, with some hum. At RSA SDR it`s VP
S5/S7. Then I attempt TDOA locating since the site is unknown and
still not in HFCC last updated Aug 21: at 1640, Brasília, Jo`burg and
Sardinia point to 33N/47E, i.e. close to KUWAIT: Kuwait City is
29.38N/47.98E. That is certainly believable. So I then check the
Kuwait SDRs: good signals S9/+15 but some fading so unseems
groundwave. 1645 another try with Maryland, Argentina, RSA: surely
extraneous showing 3N/68.5W = SE Colombia. I wanted to employ Canary
Islands but was not available until near the end, at 1655 anyway VG
S9+20/30 as would be expected. 1658 check direct just in time and it`s
a JBA carrier, so certainly not Grimesland which would have been
possible. VOA chopped in progress at 1700 to OC and off at 1700.5*. No
IS or ID at open or close, altho I do not understand much Fulani.
Others could handle it: Botswana, Madagascar, several European sites.
BTW, HFCC has 17630 registered for RMI via ISS at 1700-1800, but
nothing there. Also checked 17630 earlier at 1444, algo JBA direct
which is listed as CRI English via Mali. So what did others find by

weather, one of the major 2 MHz Canadian frequencies still in use, but
inaudible/noised out all summer. Now it`s still vs high storm noise
level but audible; nothing on the other, 2598 USB at the moment.

before 0309 is from 0240, VCS-21, Halifax, 1500 watts - but no
languages specified unlike some of the others. I wonder how uptodate
this ref be, since atop it`s dated 2020-05-13 and abottom is (C) 2020.
Latest EiBi, however shows plain old VCS Halifax in English and French
at 0240-0310! All of them are in a break between 0500 & 0740: do these
shift with DST or not? There is a CCG website of such info I have lost

after 0100. Evidently current much curtailed schedule is 0100-0300 -
except on UT Saturdays I hope until 0330 to contain WORLD OF RADIO.
However, 5085 and all other frequencies OFF at 0142 check August 30.
May need to be off while working on some of transmitters (Glenn

** U S A. 5800, Aug 29 at 0313, WRMI in English with Freedom Synergy
Radio ID, the Miami-based pro-Taiwan, anti-PRC program, no jamming
audible. Guess what, when I check 9955 at 0325 it`s also // there,
S9+30/40 with better modulation than usual. Contrary to own websked:
System B at 0300 shows Prague in English and French on 9955. System H
also shows 9955 with Pragues. While WRMI-10 transmitter does have FSR
as System B on 5800! Something`s odd at Okeechobee. By 0638, 9955 is a
JBA carrier, as always weaker than 9455 & 9395 with more favorable
azimuths thisaway, but they are also VP (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF
RADIO 2258)

with DGS, like I noted earlier around 9980; in addition to various

INTRUDING into broadcast bands they seem to avoid BC signals out of

is running 5 seconds behind weaker 1100 WTAM Cleveland. I think the
delay be not always thus, so now I have something to compare with

** U S A. 1160, Aug 29 at 0638 UT, take that, LDS, instead of KSL,
Christians vs Christians, dominant signal is Spanish preacher
reverbing, 0656 ID as R. María, outro program as `Reflecciones
Bíblicas`. Now there is a sesquiHz SAH = 90/minute, probably KSL
attempting to regain. Refers to radiomaria.org, lots of info there, HQ
in Roma, but no obvious station list! 0700 breaks for ID in English,
KCTO with two FM frequencies, 100.5 & 90.3? Am I correct that FCC
rules do not require legal IDs to be in English? Radio-locator.com:

Socialism and Communism are ECONOMIC, not Political entities! True,
many Communist heads-of-state have not been able to resist turning

cases, the nation's finest WiFi system (in Chattanooga, Tennessee),
Medical Research including those dreaded, treacherous vaccines (so
it's better to have Polio everywhere, such as what we had 70 years
ago?), or Medical Research which developed implanted cardiac
defibrillators (greatly reducing the number of deaths due to
Ventricular Tachycardias, which otherwise cut life-expectancies down
to about fifteen minutes).

Socialism means your health care is a guaranteed right, not a
commodity or a luxury like, say, a Lamborghini. If you can't afford a
Lamborghini, then you don't buy one. In Amerika, if you can't afford
the necessary health care, some just die & move out of the way in the
process. Otherwise you have to find a way to game the system; either
way, the rich bitches just get fatter.

Under Socialism, schoolchildren have enough to eat thanks to their
local school — but in our non-Socialist "red states", free school
lunch programs are being eliminated, while the kids are fed manmade
organized religion instead. Ironically, without the Socialism produced
in tax-exemptions, many religious establishments would not even
exist.

In fact, without "Socialism", the "red states" wouldn't exist at all,
as much of their public funding is provided by tax dollars collected
and collated in the "blue states". How would they even pay for all
those postings of the King James-Christian Ten Commandments in public
classrooms? ​There, enough of that from me--but what have I left
out?``

Propagation seems OK, e.g. music on 17880 which would be CRI Beijing
site in Spanish. At 2222 I try UTwente: 17855.002- is JBA also weaker

any of its remaining frequencies. But by 2221 for convenience I`m on
UTwente when measured, S9+35/40 with music. 2225 multi-lingual ID
filler reel. 2227 music. 2232 `The Middle East & Turkey` penned by an
expert in international relations, about development of T`s own fighter
jet called Khan [sp?]. 2238 music. 2242.5 `Sports Panorama`. 2249

`Stardate`, 2-minute feature from McDonald Observatory, TX. Maybe a
regular spot. We normally catch it at 1704 UT M-F on KANU=KPR webcast,
or 1800v on KUCO; or daily 1730v on ``QXFM`` TX webcast. Many more
chances, and lots of stations run it more than once a day:
