like garden fence(!), 120 Hertz apart distance,

much Saxophone performance. S=9+5dB noted in Cape Canaveral FL state, at
06.40 UT on April 18.

Subject: [WOR] Radio Habana Cuba on 6000 kHz (Communist Party Congress and
Station 60th Anniversary)
Recorded 6000 kHz today (17 April) starting around 01:50 UTC. Good signal
into NB but a little hummy and inconsistent modulation. Continuous repeat
hourly broadcasts until sign-off at about 06:02 UTC. Special programming on
the occasion of the Cuban Communist Party Congress during which Raúl Castro
has announced he is stepping down as first secretary. It was also mentioned
during the program that today was the 60th anniversary of the existence of
Radio Habana, which started broadcasting on 16 April 1961 and was mentioned
in a speech by Fidel Castro on 17 April 1961. The station was officially
launched on 1 May 1961. The transmitter came back on today at about 11:00
UTC in Spanish.
