ignored it and published the original error. Correct frequency was
5939.506, while 5939.806 was a typo (or misreading my scribbled
original log note). So here it is AGAIN. Please publish it correctly.

modulation but with heavy pumping, slow SAH from another carrier maybe

headlines before WOR starts. Spot-checked every 5 minutes or so on my

is leaving a second or two of dead air at end of file, which worx on

with English weather sounds like ``KWTE first forecast``, the two
making a medium SAH. No fuzzily-similar call listed on 1420, but so
many radio stations rely on TV stations for weather, and the
closest-fuzzy TV rhyme to that is KWTV right here in OK, which would
correlate with nearest, Hobart OK, KTJS on 1420. Checking the KTJS+
cluster website

item of my 12.45 to 15.03 UT log on Tuesday August 25.Taken on Neil's Perseus SDR rx at Brisbane, Queensland, in northeastern
Australia installation. Madagasikara Antananarivo Ambohidrano/Sabotsy, Malagasy program
noted today from 13.40 UT at S=5 or -95dBm level.
Malagasy music/singing. Neighbour channels:
6130even CHN CNR Lhasa Baiding in Tibetan, only S=4-5 poor at 13.38 UT
6140 kHz fortunately empty channel.
6145even CHN CNR Xining Qinghai ? also S=5 poor at 13.40 UT, but
hit MDG 6135 kHz upper flank side a little around peak
from 14.00 UT peak onwards.
MDG signal on exact 6135.000 kHz increased from 13.40 UT onwards,
S=6 or -89dBm in peaks.
Mentioned Madagascar around 14.07 UT. Malagasy mentioned at 14.18 UT. Strong audio / modulation level.
This is NOT the former Siemens Vienna TX unit
which is in use on 5009.911v kHz at other times of the day.
Peak signal at 14.30 UT at S=7-8 or -83dBm strength. Trans southern Indian Ocean path from Madagascar to Queensland Australia. Grayline at 14.45 UT at vertical line Somaliland - Comores - Madagascar.
Dark zone from Madagascar eastward up to Pitcairn Island
and Kirimiro/Tokani Polynesia, in southern Pacific Ocean.
Final annmt in probably French? at 14.59:40 and
frequency annmt given at 14.59:58 UT.
More music program up to 15.02:10 TX switch off. Listen to recorded program portions, 5 x files,
taken from 13.41 UT to 15.02 UT on Tuesday August 25.

U S A. 5085, UT Sun Aug 23 at 0023, WTWW-2 with hardsell Tedad, no
TONITO yet; 0035 recheck is underway presenting performance by someone
else, now deceased, ending at 0057 so started circa 0027 this week. I
immediately brought up the $ tereo webcast instead.
BTW, besides the degraded audio on 5085, it`s still always accompanied
by JBA spurcarriers circa 5072.1 & 5097.9. And this:``I know WTWW on 5085 KHz has contained very noticeable audio
distortion for years. Sounds like a portable with weak batteries. It
has low-end punch, mind you, but is totally ruined with this annoying
distortion in the mix. If one uses narrower IF bandwidth filters, this
will not be so noticeable.
