nighttime construction permit for 3.4 kW and a figure 8 pattern on the
same alignment as their old 3 tower 50 kW pattern.

** U S A. 780, re inaccurate timechex heard on WBBM Chicago, a lot
more:

``WBBM overnights --- Mr. Hauser, WBBM-AM /105.9FM from
10pm-12midnight (CLT) gives their time as "xx minutes after the hour."
At midnight, they replay "The Noon Business hour." At 1 and 3 AM, the
10PM CLT hour of WBBM is repeated. The 2 and 4 AM hours are repeats of
the 11PM CLT news hours.

The traffic reports overnight are anything but live! Road/lane
closures are all that is covered. Weather has generic forecasts. No
actual temperatures are given. Too, when things don't line up (in
automation) there are plenty of pauses and dead air from time to
time.  

What is telling is at 5:08AM CLT when the first traffic report for AM
drive is given, you'll hear "an accident that happened around 2, this
morning" or similar, that was never covered in pre-recorded traffic
reports, in Market #3!

The newscaster is on live or recorded from 7PM to 5AM!

Saturday October 18 at 0300 on WTWW 5085, S9+45/50 direct; as expected
finally back on the air and we hope, to stay. Followed 0329 by
`Wonderful Words of Life` hymn to 0331.2* without any further
announcements.

Also confirmed Saturday October 18 at 1430 on SW Gold Radio, Germany,
6160.001+, S9/+10 into UTwente.

Also confirmed Saturday October 18 at 1530 on WRMI 9955, S9+15/25 into
Georgia SDR, a new time. WOR opening started to repeat at 1600 until
chopped off air as scheduled. Did not continue on the stream.

Also confirmed Saturday October 18 at 1600 on WRN via WRMI 9395, S9+30
into Georgia SDR while // 7730 is JBA.

AM, Wentzville MO, JBA recognize my voice but impossible to tell what
I`m saying, vs high storm noise level [HSNL] into the nearest
available remote, N9AZZ in Carterville IL, still past 2000+ so must
have started somewhat late.

missing Sept 27, so who knows what`s next? Could be as a dispensable
program, it may be pre-empted for one-offs or make-goods.

** U S A. 1431.0 kHz, Oct 19 at 0009 UT, het caused by WYKG, Covington
GA, easily audible without even trying: shows what 212 watts can
accomplish on a ``clear`` frequency. At 815 miles, 3.8 miles per watt,
and it`s somewhat clockwise from due east. Now to DX their FM
translator with an enviable callsign, W288DX, 105.5, ``The King``!
BTW, if you enter DX in the callsign field and search
https://db.wtfda.org/ you`ll get 83 hits mostly USA (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)
