** CUBA. 6100, April 18 at 1130, checking RHC which allegedly airs `Mesa Redonda` during this bihour on this frequency only, per its latest schedules, besides the live hour at 23-24 UT on 6000 & 11950 (4? or 5 days a week?). NO, 6100 same as mainstream RHC Spanish on // 6060. But this is a Big Day in Cuba, as the Commies are ``electing`` their next dictator, and apparently various local races. Results to be notified tomorrow. Also stuff about the Playa GirÃn anniversary --- they just can`t get over it (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 13700, April 18 at 1318 check; and April 19 at 1333, No spur constellations across the 22 m band from RHC; what`s right? There`s always another day (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** OKLAHOMA. 530, April 18 circa 1830 UT and 2025 UT chex, ``K-530-AM``, Vance AFB, is still on but dead air instead of mostly irrelevant PSA loops; still same at 1552 UT check April 19 (Glenn Hauser, Enid, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** RWANDA [non]. As heard on NPR Morning Edition via KOSU, 1351 UT April 19: Science [sic] --- RWANDAN RECONCILIATION THROUGH RADIO SOAP OPERA --- Shankar Vedantam

In the ruins of the recently-ended Rwandan civil war, a team of radio performers attempted to unite Hutus and Tutsis through a soap opera.

The idea behind "Musekeweya," or "New Dawn," is to do the opposite of what the government's notorious "hate radio" did 20 years earlier.

** SPAIN. 15390, April 18 at 2023, REE distorted as usual, but no signal on 15520 which if on would be clear. Duh: if you`re going to turn one transmitter off, it should be the bad one! What about 16m? 17855 for North America is about S9, sufficient but not the bigsig it could have been. Nothing on 17715, so that one probably off too (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U A E. 17745, April 19 at 1409, JBA carrier here, at least compensating for nothing on 17775 from KVOH. HFCC shows it`s BBC Somali, 250 kW, 225 degrees via DHA at 1400-1500 since March 31 (not 25), while on Saturdays expands to 1130-1600; silly ballgames? Also daily 1100-1130 on 5 degrees less azimuth of 220, why? UAE site means it`s probably off-frequency, so I should have measured it (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U K. Dear Babcock: Heard your 15640 kHz test transmission today April 19

Tune-in at 1340 UT with bits of various music, including steel drums, the Babcock Theme and periodic ``You are listening to a test transmission``. Occasionally also gives this email address. Keeps looping past 1408, but off at next check 1427.

It`s a steady S9, very light fading. Only equivalent signal on 19m band is Cuba 15230. Is this Woofferton? Nothing else from European area anything like it. Saudi is audible weakly on 15380. Or is it Ascension?

Do these test loop announcements ever emanate from any site but Woofferton? It would be helpful if the announcements also mentioned where they are coming from.

I also wonder about the antenna azimuth. If WOF, does it still have one suitable for North America? We`re all set for the BBCWS to resume . . .

I hope this has been useful, and will appreciate an answer to my questions, or even a QSL.

Receiver: Icom R75. Antenna: 100-foot E-W longwire

Received this reply in 10 minutes! ---

Hi Glenn, Well, we have all the 250 degree to 305 degree antennas on all the bands still in place at WOF so the BBC have only got to ask; but they seem to be internet and FM mad these days for grade A countries rather than as they would say crackly old HF!

You really need trump/Putin and Rocket Man to get going to stoke up the HF again.

VoV were the last to use those bearings after Sackville closed.

Martin 2E1EKX who made the loop deliberately did not mention WOF as the solo, only source as we generate more interest that way!

Thanks for your IRS checks to the Voice that bought us most of the WOF infrastructure over the last 60 years!

Below is a copy and paste of the standard info / QSL we send to the reporters.

Hello, Thank you for your report and I confirm the details are correct. These transmissions were to fault-find on a 250/300 kW sender at the UK HF transmitter station at Woofferton.

These duration of these tests can be variable as the engineers can sometimes need a long time to establish a fault or they may interrupt the test, make an adjustment and resume. This is particularly so if the fault is of an intermittent nature.

Babcock, Woofferton is the only remaining UK HF sender broadcast station and also is the only one with this transmission test audio and email address.

The audio is contained in a file play-out system and incorporates non-copyright music and voice announcements from one of the engineers, Martin 2E1EKX at the transmitter site.

Thanks for your interest.

Also confirmed Wed Apr 18 at 2330 on WBCQ 9329.667v-CUSB, good S9/S9+10. Next:

** U S A. 5129.8, April 18 at 1141, WBCQ has resumed Brother Scare, despite rock music instead as of 0000 UT April 18, likewise 9330v, which so far is JBA.

[and non]. 9329.663v-CUSB, April 18 at 1320, now WBCQ is audible with reactivated BS, more modulation on USB but also some on LSB with slightly reduced carrier. And also a het from 9330.0: TWR-India via ARMENIA is now registered: 1300-1450, 300 kW, 100 degrees in various languages, but may not be using the entire span every day (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 5950, April 18 at 2338, FÃmily Radio remnant in Spanish via WRMI this hour only --- and again, that subaudible heterodyne of regular fading from another transmitter a few Hz away from WRMI. What can it be?? Still nothing else known on 5950 at this time. It goes on past 0000 as previously noted, but not there later all-night when WRMI is still secretly running Oldies on 5950. WYFR/WRMI did not double up two transmitters & antennas on one frequency before, but maybe experimenting with that now? If so, they need to zero-beat them; or not, since it would be less obvious to the monitor (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 1130, April 18 circa 1830 UT and 2025 UT chex, KLEY Wellington KS is still in total SNAFU with the carrier/modulation cut-ons and separate continuous fast noise bursts. Ditto at 1552 UT check April 19. I must get a recording of this for everyone to hear (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. 6116.58-USB approx., April 19 at 0610, INTRUDERS, 2-way in tonal language, maybe Chinese; no broadcasters around at this time tho Japan & Congo should be on 6115-AM (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 6140, April 17 at 0627, RHC in English, very weak, S2, new frequency? Yes and no: it must be a leapfrog mixing product of 6060 over 6100 another 40 kHz higher; I do not recall hearing one here before. Without embargo, it has more modulation than 6165 which is S9; because as usual 6060 is well-modulated; and it runs S9+10/20, while 6100 is less modulated at S9+10/20. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 1926, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 13700, April 17 at 1405 check, no spur constellation across the 13.3-14.1 MHz range, a day off, but surely will be back soon. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 1926, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. RHC on nine frequencies in the 25mb (three of them spurious):
11670, April 17 at 2333, is S9+20 of dead air
11700, April 17 at 2333, weak S7-S9 music
11760, April 17 at 2333, VG S9+20 music
11840, April 17 at 2334, S9+10 but sup-torted, with weak 11830 & 11850 parasites
11880, April 17 at 2335, S9-S9+10 but undermodulated starting `DXers Unlimited`, as Arnie`s voice is very rough today; about near hit by asteroid on Sunday; and Radio Swan. Every spring he goes on and on about RHC`s anniversary May 1 (and earlier Onda Corta Experimental Cubana); living in the past, as The Revolution really has no future. Better audible on // 5040 but more noisy down there.
11950, April 17 at 2336, separate Spanish `Mesa Redonda`, S9+10/20
12000, no signal despite being on the new schedules.
With all those fundamentals there ought to be some leapfrogs:
12020, April 17 at 2355 is the only one I find, JBA with same audio as 11950, but a mixture with 11880 English transmitter, 70 kHz intervals. Something`s always wrong at RHC. Checking a few others, at 2353, 15730 in Portuguese and 15230 is off (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6905-AM, April 18 at 0012, unID pirate music at S9 with ACI from 6905-LSB peskies. At 0030, I find the music on 6910-AM instead, and the peskies are pushed up to 6920 and 6925. 6910 is off at 0036 but some running-water and maybe digital transmission. 6905 is back on at 0037 with snippets of songs, 0043 bird and animal calls, or are they produced by a human? Lots more SFX mixed with music past 0056 at S9+10. Some very brief talk announcements I can`t copy, off at 0114*. Many logs here say the 6905/6910 pirate was Seven Trees Radio:
https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,41863.0.html
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 5896.5-USB, UT Wednesday April 18 at 0008, MARS net headed by NCS387 with much weaker contacts AFA6AG and AFA6TG. I wonder if FCC ordered WWCR off 5890 because of this, besides their banning Brother HyStairical with no replacement; so could it resume that frequency if it wanted to? (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 1925 monitoring: confirmed Tuesday April 17 at 2330 on WBCQ, 9329.608v-CUSB, fair-good, altho 1926 was available 3.5 hours earlier this week.

WORLD OF RADIO 1926 contents: Alaska and non, Argentina non, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Chad non, Cuba, Ethiopia, Iran non, Kiritimati, Korea North non, Kuwait, New Zealand, Nigeria non, Oman, Panamà and non, PerÃ, Philippines, South Africa, Sweden, USA, Vietnam

WORLD OF RADIO 1926 monitoring: ready in time for first SW broadcasts Tuesday April 17 at 2030 on WRMI 7780 & 9455, poor-fair vs noise levels, and about the same on both at 2130 repeats. I can hardly wait for 7780 to revert to 11580 which will propagate much better on summer days. 13 MHz band across North America would be even better. Next:

** U S A. 9329.608v-CUSB, April 17 at 2322, WBCQ again with good signal today. May be a different transmitter than before; someone reported this as AM instead of CUSB. I find there is still more modulation on USB than LSB, but the carrier is less reduced now.

The programming is now rock music, NOT Overcomer; what happened? Not // 7490v with Alan Sane show; similar music on 5129.817v-AM, maybe same and not exactly synchronized. At 2330, 9330 splits away for one more play of last week`s WOR 1925. After it at 2359, bit of music fill, WBCQ ID and funding promo, and at 0000 April 18, resumes same rock music as on 5129.817, still no BS on either (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 5950, April 17 at 1047 I awaken briefly so check for WRMI Oldies on new frequency --- there it is, poorly audible, but inaudible on 9395. So now I know it runs at least from 0300 to 1100, and probably from 0200, the 9-hour gap between previously scheduled programming upon it. However, the April 17 edition of NDXC/Aoki shows Oldies on 5950 only at 0230-0500 daily.

5950, April 18 at 0003, RMI during Jesus stuff from AWR in Spanish, again with heavy SAH. It averages about 8 Hz, but varies a lot due to one or both unstable transmitters and/or propagation. AWR mixes in some music with talk, but I don`t hear any separate modulation from the other carrier. What in the world is it? Iran in Tajik doesn`t start until 0050; maybe that has been expanded. Or my other theory, a second WRMI transmitter, of which they have several otherwise idle (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 1926, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 7505, April 18 at 0018, no signal from WRNO unless the JBA carrier be its exciter? India is not expected until 0130. WRNO is registered here for any time between 2200 and 1600, not just 0100-1300 as recently expanded. James Branum in OK was hearing it even a few minutes before 2200 on April 15 (unless he meant CDT instead of UT)(Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 1926, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** ARGENTINA [non]. 9395, April 16 at 2039, JBA music, but by 2045 I do believe talk is in Italian, implying that the RAE relay in that language is again funxional via WRMI.

9455 // 9395, UT Tue April 17 at 0100, RAE opening English, extremely informal announcer mentions 9395 only, and I think refers to another English time as ``3 pm UTC``, on webcast? Program previews do not include DX show, which one would expect if this were the ``Friday`` program (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** AUSTRALIA. 9685, April 16 at 1246, English talk about immune system, S5-S8; bet it`s RBA: yes, English segment 1245-1300 only, otherwise Burmese stuff per HFCC; a poor substitute, or rather no substitute, for RA (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 6100, Monday April 16 at 1234, RHC Spanish // 6060 and 6000, but CCI only on 6100 from CRI Russian. Need to keep checking 6100 between 11 and 13 whether there is any alternative `Mesa Redonda` programming non // as alleged in some schedule version (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 13700-AM, April 16 at 1343, RHC today accomplishes not 12 but 14 detectable FMish spurblobs, as always the closest ones decoding clearly in FM mode, trailing off to the edges where nothing but a trace of the F# tone can be heard, at approx. 67-kHz intervals: 13767, 13834, 13900 good; 13967, 14034, 14100; 13634, 13569, 13502 good; 13436, 13370, 13302 vs aero comms selcall, 13235, 13169. Something`s always wrong at RHC. Surprised that no one else is reporting these, as can`t be missed in ordinary bandscanning (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** EAST TURKISTAN. 5959.954, April 16 at 1228, Urumqi poor in Chinese, soon ID mentioning Xinjiang; one-pip timesignal? about 1230:13. Characteristic off-frequency, also sometimes making it around our sunset, grayline (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** KIRITIMATI. 846, April 16 at 0540, JBA carrier from presumed R. Kiribati. I`ve also heard carrier here around 1200 UT local sunrise, and Pacificans confirm that this station leaves carrier on all night now after programming which had been ending around 0900 or 1000 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** NIGERIA [non]. 5960, April 16 at carrier on a few seconds before *0500, via ASCENSION, unlike last night`s French sign-on announcement, after some horns and percussion opening in African language, Kanuri or Hausa? Except for trilingual greeting: ``salaam aleikum, bonjour, good morning to you all``. Only ID I could catch was ``Radio International`` as others have reported, without the name Ndarason being heard, nor Dandal Kura; 0503 into a song (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U K. 11875, April 15 at 1824, something poor in French. It`s BBCWS, 1800-1830, 250 kW, 170 degrees from Woofferton, not much else from Europe on band at this time (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A [and non]. 9950, April 16 at 1400, opening Vietnamese from Washington. This hour only is IBB TINIAN; 9950 time-shared with Palau, Taiwan and Indian sites (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 1925 monitoring: As noted in last report, no show Sat April 14 at 2300 on WRMI 7780, instead VORW. Ivo Ivanov points out that VORW also aired on 7780 during the previous hour, 2200-2300, so maybe the repeat was a mistake? WOR not confirmed Sunday April 15 after 2330 on 9330: still no signal from WBCQ.

Confirmed UT Monday April 16 at 0130 on NEW tri-frequency broadcast via WRMI: poor on 5950, fair on 7780, very good on 5850, as to be expected here by respective azimuths; 7780 was VG in NB, 5850 VG in AB.

Also confirmed UT Monday April 16 from 0302 on Area 51 webcast, and poorly audible on WBCQ 5129.8 until 0331. Not confirmed UT Monday April 16 at 0330 on WRMI 9955, since it`s a JBA carrier, but confirmed on webcast, plus immediate repeat at 0400 still replacing ZomBiafra on webcast only.

Confirmed Monday April 16 at 2330, good signal is back! from WBCQ 9329.7v. Also confirmed UT Tuesday April 17 at 0030 on WRMI, 7730, VG S9+30. I hope to have 1926 ready in time, but if not, next 1925s:
Tue 2030 WRMI 7780 to NE, 9455 to WNW
Tue 2130 WRMI 7780 to NE, 9455 to WNW

** U S A. 5950, April 16 at 0530, poor signal with gospel huxter in English, presumably WRMI Oldies channel as before but during an opt-out (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 7490v, UT Tue April 17 at 0100, WBCQ with an `Allan Weiner Worldwide` playback from when Timtron was hosting it March 2, quite differently than AW does it. Other days at 0100 it`s usually Blalock the Blaster (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 5830 // much stronger 9475, April 16 at 2037, SFAW on BOTH day and night frequencies of WTWW-1, a new combination. The higher one has JBA parasite carriers on 9462.1 & 9387.9, so it`s the ``#2`` transmitter (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** AUSTRALIA [and non]. 4835, April 15 at 1232, not even a JBA carrier from Ozy Radio: that`s because, as Johno Wright informs me: ``4835 kHz has suffered over heat issues with the power supply --- days on days of 100 F heat cooked the power supply. Off air till 15th May or more. So what SW station plays decent pop music? 11th April (Craig Allen via John Wright, Australian Radio DX Club, 0253 April 14)``

Nor is there a 4835 carrier here from AIR Sikkim, but we have another month to try to hear that. Some Indian carriers are making it such as 5010. And 5055 JBAC presumably 4KZ (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 6100, Sunday April 15 at 1227, RHC with Spanish mainstream programming, 1236 `Cuba Campesina` music with QRM here from China, but // clear 6060 and 6000. Wolfgang BÃschel`s schedule received from Arnie claims 6100 only carries the separate `Mesa Redonda` TV discussion show at 1100-1300 (daily, u.o.s.), in addition to live broadcast 23-24 UT Mon-Thu on 6000 & 11950, but I have my doubts; certainly, not today. The version sent out by the Correspondence Department also has 6100 at 11-13 under Mesa Redonda but I thought it was misplaced. Try it on weekdays (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 13569-FM in the ISM band, April 15 at 1330, after a respite yesterday, RHC 13700-AM transmitter is back in force today spewing a dozen FM spurblobs all over the 22 mb, and even into the 20mb hamband, oh oh! Along with F# tone, VG almost fully quieted circa 13633, 13569, 13502; 13767, 13833; also detectable out to 13436, 13368, 13302; 13900, 13966, 14032, 14100; i.e. averaging ~67 kHz intervals. 1336 `En Contacto` starts. Hey, Arnie, this would be a great topic for your show, explaining how and why these occur; yeah, right. Anyway, I comprehend his lickety-split presentation on one of them rather than 13700-AM (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** ERITREA. 7140 & 7180, April 15 circa 0300, JBA AM carriers, INTRUDERS amid the LSB hams, from VOBME, both now sounding close to on-frequency judging from BFO het pitches, and no DRM noise jamming audible (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** ETHIOPIA [and non]. 5950, April 15 at 0311, V of Tigray Revolution with HOA music horribly mixing with Oldies (// L&C 9455) from WRMI`s greatly expanded new frequency, both weak and still a medium SAH. Leads me to believe that WRMI is the one slightly off-frequency, as same SAH was being heard earlier when nothing else is scheduled on 5950 to beat with it. Could that beat be caused by WRMI running two transmitters on 5950, by mistake? As of 1550 UT April 15, WRMI skedgrid http://www.tinyurl.com/WRMIfqs still has blank space for XMTR #14 between 0200 and 1100 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** JAPAN. 13720, April 14 at 1835, J-pop is the SSOB at S9+5, even stronger than 13605 jamming+MartÃ, and weaker 13845 WWCR. It`s NHK in Japanese at 17-19, 85 degrees from Yamata for CIRAF 14 & 16, which means the Southern Cone. Incidentally good for Hawaii on the way at 7-9 am local (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** KOREA SOUTH [non]. 12065, April 14 at 1839, pop song at S5-S3, yet stronger than 12050 WEWN, 1842 YL DJ in Russian; 1852 mentions I-phone, various gorods, cut off at 1859.5* mid-song. Make that K-pop. HFCC shows it`s KBSWR, 1800-1900, 250 kW, 58 degrees from Woofferton UK, since April 4 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTEING DIGEST)

** KUWAIT [and non]. 15535-15540-15545, April 14 at 1833, R. Kuwait DRM in English is at imaginary level, slightly increased noise above background on band?

Alexander Busneag, Germany, has compiled this current DRM schedule showing DRM in use by only 5 stations on SW; truly a failing mode:
http://ab27.bplaced.net/drm.pdf
India suspended its DRM months ago for unclear reasons. HFCC also has some `N` DRM listings for Bulgaria, China, Germany, Russia, Singapore, most or all imaginary; not including DRM used for jamming by China, Ethiopia (are you cool with that, Ruxandra?) (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** MADAGASCAR. 17640, April 14 at 1834, JBA carrier must be MWV APR in English here, instead of usual booming signal (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** MEXICO. 700, April 15 at 1202, XEGD with full ID, still calling itself `La Poderosa`, which 5/1 kW is not --- gotta think big, in Hidalgo del Parral, Chihuahua. Most of the other lowband XEs are fading out by now after our sunrise 1158 UT (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** OKLAHOMA. 640, Sunday April 15 at 1200 UT, KWPN Moore, with `Sunday Morning Magazine`, pubaffs interview about mosquitos infecting Oklahomans with West Nile endemic but not yet Zika. Divergence from stupid sports talk every week at this time when audience is assumed to be minimal. Same show is on 930 WKY, diverging from stupid sports talk in Spanish, and presumably other FM stations in cluster, probably not synchronized in separate playouts (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** OKLAHOMA. 740, April 15 at 1200 UT as I tune across, no signal, a split second later, KRMG Tulsa pops on at full 50 kW day power. Day pattern has two major lobes about 10 degrees CCW from E/W, and 25 kW night pattern quite similar. Enid is a bit off but at 100 miles distance still mainly covered day and night. 1200 UT is correct KRMG FCC LSR time for April; May & July will be 1115 UT, and earliest 1100 UT during June (Glenn Hauser, Enid, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** SPAIN. 15520, April 14 at 1850, no signal from REE on what is normally its best signal opposite from here, nor on 15390. 17855, the supposed North American frequency, is VP S1, and the other 16m, 17715 is also audible as a JBA carrier (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 1925 monitoring: not confirmed, still no signal Sat Apr 14 at 2130 on 9330 from WBCQ. Not confirmed next airing either, Sat Apr 14 at 2300 on 7780 WRMI: instead, yet another airing of VORW! That also blows away HRI at 2330. WRMI skedgrid still shows both of us this hour, but I see has also added another WOR airing, UT Monday 0130 on 5850 to NW, 5950 to S, 7780 to NE.

WOR still confirmed UT Sunday April 15 at 0200 on WRMI 7780, fair. Also confirmed on WA0RCR, 1860-AM, MO, UT Sunday Apr 15 0329 at India/International Waters, i.e. 13 minutes in, so started circa 0316. Next, maybe:
Sun 2330 WBCQ 9330v-CUSB to WSW
Mon 0130 WRMI 5850 to NW, 5950 to S, 7780 to NE [NEW]
Mon 0300v WBCQ 5130v Area 51 to WSW
Mon 0330 WRMI 9955 to SSE
Mon 0400 WRMI webcast only
Mon 2330 WBCQ 9330v-CUSB to WSW
Tue 0030 WRMI 7730 to WNW
Tue 2030 WRMI 7780 to NE, 9455 to WNW [or #1926?]
Tue 2130 WRMI 7780 to NE, 9455 to WNW [or #1926?]

** U S A. 9330v, April 14 at 1829, this WBCQ is still AWOL, no signal. Also random later chex April 15 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 9462.1 & 9487.9, Sat April 14 at 1830, JBA plus/minus 12.9 kHz spur carriers out of 9475.0 WTWW with ham program at S9+25; still nothing on 9930, which used to carry `Theatre Organ in the Ozarx` at this time; signature spurs indicate the #2 transmitter for 9930 is axually radiating on the #1 frequency, 9475 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 7504.981V, Sunday April 15 at 1304, WRNO is still on but playing English sign-off by Mr Duncan asserting it`s now 4 AM GMT! Schedule as 1-4 AM only, and good night! Not only is it not night, but resumes huxtering in Chinese at S9+20/30, still going past 1325 but off at 1410 check. Modulation is slightly distorted (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 1130, April 14 at 1848 UT check, KLEY Wellington KS has resumed its totally wacko transmission consisting of rapid constant noise bursts, at the rate of 300/minute or 5/second, and separately, bits of modulation as carrier cuts on and off at slower irregular intervals. Furthermore, for the first time I find it off-frequency: at 1130.5, drifting down steadily to 1129.8 by 1849 UT! What a piece of crap this station is; yet sometimes it manages to funxion normally or is off air completely. It`s licensed for 250/1 watt U3, and direxional north semicircle. When I hear it to the SW, unseems direxional either (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
