Not so much of a Chinese morning here in Victoria Gary, at least
during the live listening. Was barely able to dig out 639 for
example, and didn't find 963 as strong as yesterday (hardly at all),
but you're right, 603 had Chinese dominant at one point, with
apparent Korea earlier on. Maybe there will be more heard when
going over the recording.

best wishes,

Nick

The low and middle band were full of Chinese signals this morning
after 1400, with 603-China dominant over HLSA, 657-China at equal
strength with Pyongyang, 738-BEL2 at S9, 963-CRI very strong in
Russian, etc. It was easily the best Chinese morning of the season
here so far-- full details to follow.

738-BEL2 Penghu, Taiwan Female Chinese at S9 level at 1422 (best
signal ever here)

So far this morning. New is KGLE 590 MT and CKNW 980 BC. Rather rare with
ID's KTNQ 1020 CA, KMPH 840 CA, KLSQ 870 NV, and XERPS 1090 which is
extremely rare.

I have a couple appts. in town, so no time yet to check DU's or check
domestics above 1300, although 738 was decent with ABC nx at 1200, but as
an example, the 1152 het was bothering KSEN 1150.

DU's got better after 1200. 73 KAZ Barrington IL

PS..Tim, I wish you could find room for a DKAZ aimed west!

IRCA

After yesterday's awesome recording by Tim, I set mine to record from
1148-1205. I noted a decent carrier on 702 already, before 1100 UTC,
just before I left for work. (Also I got TOH recordings throughout the
night and into this morning.) I used the superloop pointed west that I
set up about a month ago with the Perseus. Haven't had a chance to
review anything yet, so I'm looking forward to what I might have.
Conditions to the west seem to be good last couple of days. I still need
MT and ID, so maybe something good lies in there somewhere...

Kaz, nice going this morning. The 891 het has been very strong here too
but it has no chance against WLS. The 882 het has been strong too,
seemingly strong enough for audio, but always absent of such.

I'm in northern MI for the rest of the week, and away from the radio, so I
look forward to your reports.

Tim, I hope you recorded this stunning morning at 1200 for DU's as I had
carriers, hets, and quite a few audios all across the dial including 1611.
891 had a ripping het on WLS etc. 73 KAZ Barrington IL Perseus and DKAZ
