IRCA
Yes, but membership in Facebook is.

Frankly, I prefer the idea of a stand-alone server and URL that was originally proposed. Nothing to sign up for, no ads, no people from high school, etc.

URL Correction - NRC Facebook  View Printable Version

I like having nothing technically connected to IRCA or the NRC....

Itâs just simpler that way.

I have the domain name ircaonline.com
You can see the firestorm I avoided by not using that. :-)

And Facebook still wants your soul before you can access anything.

I like it. Clean and simple and real time and no ads. Call me
old-fashioned, but I think we've given up a lot of that old-time
simplicity and privacy for the "flashy" modern look of Facebook and all
the rest. From the looks of it, there is literally nothing that could
break or go wrong, unless the server crashes. And you don't have to have
a fast PC, or be using the latest browser, etc, etc, etc.

I just commented there about a new station I just logged on 640 kHz.
Condx here in N. Indiana are good to the deep south.

Thanks for setting it up, Colin!

Exactly - which is exactly what Iâm doing.

Facebook is like a needy adult child that refuses to grow up - with
its hand endlessly extended for more money, information, more of your

Iâve run up a free standing system.
No ads, no info grabs, no shills, no BS.
