Enid sunrise 1337 UT today. EiBi shows possibilities: R. Taiwan Int`l
in Mandarin from site s=D/Tanshui, so of course it`s CNR1 or Firedrake
jammer from site f=Fuzhou = per Aoki Fujiang. But also CRI Russian via
Urumqi; so in effect, ChiCom are also jamming their own Russian
broadcast, altho widely apart geographically (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

supposed to be on SW, but I don`t even try as this is a visual

with a white glove. Huge variety of very decorative uniforms. Also

flyovers. Occasional English commentary mixed with Hindi. Interspersed
with shots of stoic leaders observing, PM Narendra Modi, President

a Peoria broadcast station - some overload, not an harmonic, no 930
locally. Best into far Maryland SDR, S7/S9 with no such problem. Also
heavy CW QRM due to some contest, Winter Field Day. CW is authorized
for entire 160m band, 1800-2000 but normally plenty space without

From now and for an unknowntime, at least for 3 years, I will not use any radio except the remote SDRs forDXing. Recently we moved from the village back to the city in a space thatprohibits the use of desktop DXing, a place flooded by high levels of noise inthe LMHF bands. The radio is now used mostly for FM, for news listening.we runpolitically lively condition with always very interesting twits every day ..

remotes in IL, IA, nor direct, so OFF? Might have something to do with
`Winter Field Day` contest, lots of 10m activity. I keep checking 1860
later and by 2348, WA0RCR is JBA in Peoria, and by 2413, S6/S7. I
still suspect it was off earlier.

now following this report via Alan Pennington: ``0320 UTC January 25 -
Due to extremely cold temperatures in the Okeechobee area, a main
power line has gone down, so all of our frequencies are off the air
(except our Internet stream on 9955 kHz). Florida Power & Light has
dispatched a crew to find and repair the problem, but it could take up
to several hours. WRMI will go back on the air as soon as electrical
