** 9475. Sat, Sep 7, 2024. 2300-2325, WTWW, Lebanon-TN, in English. Total silence (off) till 2207; 2207 Starting with Glenn Hauser reading many logs into program "World of Radio". Fast intermittent modulation interruptions during the program; variations in signal quality with almost inaudible moments, fadings. I rate this transmission as bad  to a probable problem with the transmitter, of course. 2325 Impossible to continue listening!
In time:
At 2229 returns WTWW programming with fair to good reception; Woman/man announcers say ID and more; 2333 Man preaching.

** ALGERIA. 17600, Sept 7 at 1520, Ifrikya FM with guitar music, S5/S7
better than usual. I can also usually detect a JBA carrier around 0630
even if not much else propagating above 15 MHz (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** CANADA [and non]. Re 332 kHz MCW ND beacons. The RNA list omits QT,
Thunder Bay, so apparently gone forever. Also shows only 25 watts for
IC Wichita, logged as recently at 08-26; not 400 W as in dxinfocentre.

``Glenn, QT-332 was decommissioned on July 11, 2024 as part of Phase
12 of NAV Canada’s Modernization Program. Steve Howe, Saint Albans,
VT`` -- that was my most reliable Canadian beacon after WG Winnipeg
closed 248 kHz earlier. After that, YXL Sioux Lookout ON was regular
on 346, but no sign of that yet either. It is still being reported on

** U S A. (12160), Sat Sept 7, `The Talking Machine Show` is the only
WWCR program we always listen to, Sats 1700-1730, via WWCR-2 webcast.
It`s really mostly music, not talk! At 1720, Phil says the piece
playing was recorded 102 years ago in 1912. Therefore, this program
itself is a dekayear old. If any show can be ``evergreen``, this is
it. But we wonder if any ``new`` ones are being produced (Glenn

from EnId`s least-known radio station, ND beacon EI, at Woodring
Airport. Had been reliable for many weeks and not logged. Even tho a
few km away, it was never a local bigsig, but not even a trace of
carrier now. This has happened before, but eventually resumed. Noise
level always a LW problem, but I still can at least JB hear 255 SW
Stillwater, 515 PN Ponca City and some Kansans (Glenn Hauser, OK,

are still OFF, a semiservice, leaving 17715; & best 17855 for N

for new weekly VOA Fulani semihour. This Friday, cuts on *1629

announcement mentioning Washington, cut to dead air at 1700, and off
at 1700.3* without any closing in English, let alone YDD. Reportedly

SDR: 3265 and 5130 off. 6160 -71 Hz = 6159.929, S9+5/10 TOMBS. 7490
-72 Hz = 7489.928 with FKB. 2359 FKB gets the one-minute warning to
wrap up and does on 7490-; dead air, bit of extraneous rock/soul
music, deadair.

UT Sat Sept 7 at 0001 finally `Wm Tell Overture` theme. Now 5130 -74
Hz = 5129.926 is also on //, not 3265. It`s new, remarx over theme
``get those gears going`` and ``beaming not streaming`` -- really?
7490 is also streaming tho unchecked. ``Live`` from Studio 9, which
means Allan is back home in Deland of Fla, and finally with Angela in
view rather than on phone. Says has been shooting short videos of WBCQ
and putting on X - which I cannot view without compromise. It`s too
hot and too much rain. Worried about plastic pollution: each American
consumes a credit card`s worth of plastic each week. 0024 about EVs,
audio replacing radio, referring to Radio World articles. 0040 says
simulcasting on 7490 and 5130 but no datestamp; 5130 has been fixed,
it and 3265 are available for major airtime purchases, and some time
on 7490. Rest mostly political about ``stolen`` elexion - Angela will
never be convinced otherwise; ``Communist Democrats`; Harris a
``clown``. USA will be ruined if she`s elected rather than Trump: they
are still totally delusional. Just switch the candidates and parties
