The 5130 kHz transmitter was off the air due to mechanical issues yesterday, WBCQ's engineering department is working on repairs, but Radio Angela may possibly be off the air for several days depending upon the extent of the problem. We'll be back, and we'll let you know when. In the meantime you can visit wbcq.com to see if there are other programs of interest on our other frequencies.

The External Services Division of the All India Radio is expanding its
transmission of Persian (Farsi) language service from existing 1 hour 45
minutes per day to 3 hours per day with effect from June 8, 2022.

Programmes in Persian language will now be available to the listeners 
daily in the morning and evening, AIR said in a statement.
