VG signal, each logged several times before. In the WGB list, XE1JAL/B
is in Xalapa, Veracruz but XE1RCS not listed on any frequency. So this
was my last log in 2023y:

on air, last heard on Sept 25 and off by Sept 27, roughly one biweek.
But if it`s Tuesday, there must not be English, rather Ladino at this
hour. 17855 is S6/S9 direct, about equal to 17715 for S America, while
17855 ought to be much stronger, so something is still wrong. 15390
still gone of course, leaving 15520 backwards for ME the best at

** TURKEY [and non]. 11785, Oct 8 at 2158, VOT IS VP S7/S8 direct vs
local HNL up to S9+10, and even ROMANIA 11800 is a JBA carrier.
Propagation very disturbed. But at 2230 into UTwente, RRI is VG
S9+20/25, while there`s algo JBA around 11785 not even synch-locking,
so VOT must have crashed or be exciter-only as nothing else scheduled.

photocopy of info sheet about ``Greenville`` station, including: 8
high-power SW transmitters. Five are rated for 500 kW, three for 250
kW, but all eight operated at 250 kW to reduce operating budget.
Equipped with approx. 40 broadcast antennas, between 03 and 305
degrees. 305? Per azimuthal map, that would aim at S Pacific, northern
Australia. I had emailed a report as requested on the DRM text;
axually decoded by NH kiwiSDR, not aimed thataway. This was not one of
those transmitters, only 6.5 kW as in my original report and reply

So Bonaire, a “special municipality” of the Kingdom of the
Netherlands, gets two designations: HOL is the ITU code for the

** TURKEY. 7275.02, UT Mon Oct 7 at 0321, VOT undermodulated with
music, 0324 more music, S9+20/30 direct with flutter as K index =
5.33. BUT: This is not a replay of the Sun 1230 broadcast like heard
at 2200 on 11785+, which it normally would be, since by 2221 The
Letterboxxe Programme had started! Something`s very erroneous at
Emirler. They are broadcasting something other than the last English
hour. By 0353 just in time I`ve tuned it via UTwente refining the
frequency to 7275.019, greater offset than usual and a different
transmitter as it`s also squealy, instead of English s/off at this
minute, the *different* IS they play for the Turkish language service,
interspersed with Turkish IDs, i.e. about to start at 0400. And at
0355 the choral national anthem is playing, which we never hear on the
external service == but it`s chopped off! a few sex later. Meanwhile I
switched to 6165 which is supposed to be // 7275 in English, but it`s
off already. Turkish from 0400 is supposed to be on 6040 & 9770,
unchecked as I only uplooked HFCC later. The anthem:

Overcomer website has been hacked, and can`t get any program feed.
They will have to get outside help to restore it. Tried filling with
other programming, then turned 9930 off until it can resume. However

inside our 40m hamband, VOT English not off the air, VG S9+30/40
direct, s/on pretending it`s yesterday at 1230 on 17620. Does not name
which features will air later in hour. News leads with extremely
detailed casualty figures from Gaza, presumably from the Hamas
authorities, treated as if true: Israel killed 23 more Gazans the past
24 hours, injured 66. Totals over almost a full year of conflict:
41,825 killed, 96,910 more injured in this ``genocidal war`` which
also has destroyed 79% of the mosques.

Not monitored further on 7275, but at 0339 I find dead air slightly
above 11785 at S9/+10, suspiciously like the 2200 transmission which
was missing Oct 5 - could that be another Emirler transmitter somehow
on the air now? Per EiBi only 11785 scheduled now is CNR-2 from
Xianyang site at 00-13. I bet it is Emirler, where something is always

Just finished removing from the high voltage line, a bad power module
that was causing overloads. Running fine NOW. George McClintock

Marianas. 9675 Saudi in Turkish. 11530 V of Welt [sic] in Kurdish, and
there will be no HFCC meeting in Bulgaria in August! No ID outro, 0326
switch to Bible stuff. It`s obviously Bob Padula! Yes, `Australian DX`
is still on the WWCR 4840 sked dated Oct 1, at 0315 UT Sundays.

Trouble is, it`s over 4 years old!!! HFCC: ``Due to the ongoing
COVID-19 situation, the conference in Bulgaria in August 2020 has been
cancelled. The B20 coordination is to be done online via our website,
e-mail correspondence, etc.``

What a WWCR disservice. I think BP stopped producing those years ago,

UNIDENTIFIED. 338 kHz, among several intriguing JBA MCW carriers on
NDB band, Oct 6 at 0630 UT, partial call as #M but nofits in RNA list
or dxinfocentre. 338 is normally RYN Tucson or TU Tulsa.

359 MCW, Oct 6 at 0634 UT, seems like MGF: probably GGF, Grant NE

UNIDENTIFIED. Trans-Atlantic JBA MW carrier search: full 9/kHz
bandscan at 0308-0312 Oct 6 hits only two: 774, likely Spain, and
1089, likely UK; and no 889/891 now but yes at 0621 presumed Cuba

UNIDENTIFIED. 9697-9716 approx., Oct 6 at 0336, OTH radar clickery;
fortunately  no broadcasters in this area, maybe no coincidence (Glenn

** TURKEY. 11785+, Oct 5 at 2201 t/in via UTwente, signal with dead
air in English, not at usual blasting level but chop 2202* before I
can measure S or exact frequency offset; and does not come back. So
VOT tries but fails again to get going. Something`s always erroneous

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2263 monitoring: UT Sat Oct 5 at
0300*, WTWW 5085 cuts off air immediately after ID as if intentional.
I emailed George immediately, what`s going on? And it came back on at
*0305 with WOR S9/+10 in progress thru 0329, then a bit of music and
off again.

Also confirmed Saturday October 5 at 1445 the 1430 on SW Gold Radio,
Germany, 6160.000, S9/+10 into UTwente.

Also confirmed Saturday October 5 at 1600 on WRN North America
webcast.

Also confirmed Saturday October 5 at 1734 the 1730 on SW Gold Radio,
Germany, 6160.000+ at S9+15/20 into UTwente but with RTTY QRM from
6164 and broadcast splash from 6165; and 3 words behind on 3975.002-,
S9/+15 in the clear.

Also confirmed Saturday October 5 at 1958 about 6 minutes into so
started circa 1952 on WA0RCR, 1860 AM, S9+17 by groundwave into nearby
SDR.
