per watt`` - this time not hearing the usual 353 occupant, LI in

** CANADA [and non]. 328 MCW kHz, Dec 13 at 0739 UT, dash and YTL:
1000 watt NDB at Big Trout Lake, Ont. Right next to regular 329 MCW,
PMV, 25 watts at Plattsmouth NE (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CHINA. 11765, Fri Dec 13 at 1558, S9+20/30 of soft Chinese music
and talk, 6-pip timesignal to 1600 and off* immediately. CNR1 Jammer
against RFA Chinese via Kuwait, M/W/F 1500-1600, of which no sign.
Aoki does not mark this hour as *jammed, unlike before 1500 vs Sound
of Hope, but EiBi does (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 15230, Dec 13 at 1555, S7/S8 of dead air, possibly Just
Barely Modulated - the only sign of RHC lately, not even on 6000

** KOREA SOUTH. 6155, Dec 13 at 0822, JBA carrier. EiBi listed is only
KBSWR in Japanese at 0800-1000 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. 1670, Dec 13 at 2025 UT, on caradio at home some 2 miles
away, I now have JBA music from presumed Virtual DJ Radio, too early
for any skywave from any of the 5 NAm too far real X-banders. Local
noise level still awful but may have abated slightly, and/or VDJR
nudged power upabit. BTW, the connexion between 1670 and Mr. Jeff Pino
is only circumstantial as he admits to having been a DJ and a member

** OKLAHOMA. 95.1, Dec 13 at 2027 UT on caradio at home, KQCV Shawnee,
Bott is dominating rather than KOKJ-LP Enid. I drive toward downtown
and KOKJ music slowly takes over. Then I drive 7 blox north to address
of record, 701 N Grand, the decrepit building with a one-element
antenna on a pole - and tnx to Greg Hardison, I don`t have to
photograph it - and guess what, right across the street it`s NOT a
solid signal, losing out to KICT/KQCV. Therefore I think the site is
really closer to downtown, such as the otherwise vacant skyscraper
Broadway Tower which already hosts some FM transmitters. No, FCC FM
Query shows different coordinates for KKRD 91.1. Either way, the
signal is not even solid to a 1-mile radius, so doubt it is even 100
watts. I have yet to hear any ID, legal or not, in random listening,
even around hourtops. Most of my portables at home, scarcely a mile
away, can`t get it, except one with very careful antenna angling

which I hear the same music on 6 frequencies in a row, widely varying
reception and QRM. At least this show is a respite from relentless
far-right nonsense, like RER. Show website makes you pick a state
first rather than a frequency list. From NRC AM Log, I extract the

loud & clear station here, with 913 AC ad for SalesKC.com - so it`s
KCTE, 10 kW daytimer direxional thisaway from Independence MO, sports
format; eventually back to talk of some sort, calling for fitness.
Early winter skywave at highband - but I don`t find anything else
unusual from the KC area, not even 1660, only JBA. Eventually KCTE
fades down a bit (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 5995, Dec 13 at 0820, JBA music and nothing on 9635, so
presumably R. Mali did not QSY at 0800. Or, after 0700, 5995 could be

UNIDENTIFIED. 9490, Dec 13 at 0824, open carrier rather strong. Only

From now and for an unknowntime, at least for 3 years, I will not use any radio except the remote SDRs forDXing. Recently we moved from the village back to the city in a space thatprohibits the use of desktop DXing, a place flooded by high levels of noise inthe LMHF bands. The radio is now used mostly for FM, for news listening.we runpolitically lively condition with always very interesting twits every day ..

direct. Again mixing up its frequency/times, instead of 15150 now. At
1808 check into UTwente, neither. Ditto at 1937. Nominal sked is:
1200-1700 15150, 1730-2230 17525, 2258-0400 9275. It probably makes
propagational sense to swap 15150 & 17525, so the higher one is
earlier in the daypath (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 1210 kHz, Dec 12 at 0802 UT, Spanish music unusually instead
of KGYN or WPHT; 0804 ID as ``La Nueva Radio Cristiana, 890 KVOZ y
1210 KUBR``. Latter is U4 10/5 kW at San Juan TX. Former is U2 10/1 kW
Del Mar Hills TX, both addressed in McAllen. KUBR night pattern has a
