Re: [IRCA] More WINS silent periods

Since when is David Hinckley a tabloid news writer? He is one of the best
radio columnists in the country along with Robert Feder of the Chicago Sun
Times.

The thing is as the program director of WINS pointed out, the station never
goes off the air unless they have real transmitter failure or something else
happens that shuts the signal down.

People have depended on WINS for news 24 hours a day since April 19, 1965.
The consistency of the format and presentation is why they are the most
successful all news station in the country.
