** FRANCE. 21660, Oct 25 at 1526, no signal yet from Mini-TransAt
weather. Christian Ghibaudo says this will not start until Oct 26 at

** GUAM [and non]. It`s the final day on air from KTWR. Via KFS remote
on NW antenna, Oct 25 at 1452, nothing but heavy pulsing noise jamming
on 9900. But at 1459, KTWR becomes audible underneath, s/on in English
with ID, frequency and 1500 into Korean, jamming unabated. Direct I
have only a JBA carrier under the noise. This is a one-hour broadcast,
and the final final will be 1600-1630****** in Tamil in DRM on 15390.

9900, listening again at 1557, now KTWR is better vs jamming, Korean
talk, 1559 bit of organ music and standard s/off in English, no
mention of this momentous occasion, carrier off about 1600.4* Then via
same remote from 1600, try 15390 for DRM, but not getting it. Surely a
remote in India would. I try the Hyderabad, but internet outage here!
Someone in Faridabad, India was already on it. Never audible here.

Meanwhile, Michael Andersson recorded the final AM sign-off: ``I was
able to pick it up in good quality from our local Kiwi in southern
Sweden, belonging to Malmoe Shortwave Club. No special announcement
sadly but still a little historical...

don`t have time to listen more. I think it was also on 5130, maybe

signal of KAAY Little Rock seems gone; at least two stations mixing,

like ###R, but nothing fits in NRC AM Log. At 0714, ``95.7, The Game``
team Warriors mentioned. The only 95.7 The Game is KGMZ-FM San
Francisco CA, and it`s the home of the Golden State Warriors, but no
1390 correlation. Evidently local station mentioned during ESPN net
show. Per NRC AM Log, the only 1390 ESPNs are the other AL, WWTM
Decatur but daytimer; and WTJF Jackson TN U2 5/1 kW with FM on ``94``

15500. But next check at 2242, 17715.0135 achieves S5/S7 into
Maryland, but only poor and by now *is* in English, MQ reciting
imminent B25 frequencies, including 9680, typo? instead of 9690,
should it really be on air at all. By then, English should be at 23-24

supposedly on internet only from 16 to 21 UT System C during RAE
Argentina in German. Via Georgia remote, at 1805, pop music S9+25;
1829 WRMI ID in English, more music, songs in unknown and unannounced
language and // the stream. Separate RAE skedblock does not show any
such transmission on any frequency or System. Searching entire program
grids does not find 9955 on any other System during these hours.
Something`s odd at Okee. By next check at 2009, 9955 really is off
