** CUBA. 11760, Oct 31 at 1551, RHC Spanish, S7 into FL FL SDR, no other frequencies (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 15140, Oct 31 at 1905, RHC succeeds in Englishing, S9 direct with squeal. Something`s not always wrong at RHC. No 11760 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR0
** CUBA [non]. 15380 S8/S9, 13820 S9, 11930 S6/S7, 11860 S7/S8, Oct 31 at 1552, open carriers into FL FL SDR, warming up at Grimesland, 1600 they blast on with R. Martí in progress (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** FRANCE. 21660, Oct 31 at 1539, S7/S9 into Maryland SDR, MiniTransAt, YL in French ranking racers; 1540 brief English introducing music and ``bonne journée à tous``, music fill.
Website has some illustrated stories of the competitors and FAQ: https://www.minitransat.fr/
So 15-20 days after the restart Oct 26 would mean ending Nov 10-15 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** OKLAHOMA. 265 MCW kHz, Oct 31 at 0648 UT, HET, 25-watt NDB at HEnrietTa OK, seldom audible despite proximity, while no signal on 255 from closer regular SW, StillWater OK, off? (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR)
** U S A. 344 MCW kHz, Oct 31 at 0653 UT, JA, 400-watt NDB `Dinns`, JAxonvil FL; not to be confused with JL, at JopLin MO I`ve also heard on 344 but not now (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 371 MCW kHz, Oct 31 at 0655 UT, JBA NDB seems RCV but not sure of every letter. Per RNA list it`s most likely one dit/dah different, RYV, `Rock River`, Watertown WI, 25 watts. New for me (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

Thanks to James Gershman, K1JJJ, Warwick RI for a contribution via PayPal, in US funds but not necessarily, to woradio at yahoo.com -- and says, ``with continuing thanks for your ever-informative program``
One may also contribute by MO or check on a US bank to: Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 9930, Oct 31 at 1913, TOMBS air is dead on only S7/S9 direct WTWW and still at 1957 into Maryland SDR where it`s also only S9, so also underpowered? Something`s lifeless in Lebanon (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 17525, Oct 31 at 1757, WMLK reactivated, DEJOM preaching, no hourtop ID break. Had been off for weeks; tnx tip from Rick Barton in AZ. Still at 1906 S9/+10 direct (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
UNIDENTIFIED. 341 MCW kHz, Oct 31 at 0652 UT, two JBA NDB stations mixing. One very likely DNI, 25 watts at Sherman/DeNIson TX, almost in OK. The other used to be OIN, 25 watts at Oberlin KS, both of which would vie with JBA local EI, Enid, which has been OFF for a few years. All of these still appear at dxinfocentre.com/ndb.htm, but only DNI in the RNA list. It shows 5 others in conterminous USA still active and one far Canadian (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 15140, Oct 30 at 1902, RHC Spanish announcement that it`s time for English; 1903 that it`s time for French, and indeed into French at wrong hour past 1910! No other frequencies on except S6/S7 of dead air on 15230. At 1936 recheck, 15230 is off and now 15140 is in Portuguese! Until chopoff mid-word at 1945* Somethings always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 2319)
** CUBA [non]. 15380, 13820, 11930, 11860, Oct 30 at 1519, no Martíes yet direct, but by 1613, all four are on into FL SDR. Back to ``normal`` *1600. Will this become 1700 next week when both Cuba & USA quit DST? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** FRANCE [and non]. 9790, Oct 30 at 0645, S6/S7 of dead air or JBM. I think it`s RFI way underneath Cuba relay of CRI not turned off after 0300-0500. Could not expect much signal from Issoudun beamed south during this hour. BTW, HFCC does not show any RHC, but does list CRI relays via ``HAB`` tnx to the ChiCom (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2318 monitoring: ``Richard Lemke, St. Albert, Alberta, Canada, From the desk of Richard’s listening Post, Radio: JRC NRD-535 HF, 1995, (30 years of service), Antenna: random long wires in the trees. WRMI, World of Radio (#2318): 9395 kHz, 2300, 2318, 2329 (45343), static QRN, October 26 UTC 2025 [Sun] 9455 kHz, empty slow start, 2330, 2345, 2359 (55433-4), 2358, October 26 UTC 2025 [Sun] 9395 kHz, Yes very weak, 0059, October 29 UTC 2025 [Wed] 9395 kHz, 2330, 2344, 2359, (45433), October 29 UTC 2025 [Wed] (Lemke, Richard -AB)``
Confirmed UT Thursday October 30 at 0130 on WRMI 5010, S9+10/25 into Georgia SDR.
Also confirmed Thursday October 30 from 1730.5 on SW Gold Radio, Germany, 6160.001, S9+5/10 into UTwente but with heavy ACI from 6165 CGTN Radio in English from Beijing site; 3975.001+ clear S9+5/18; by 1757 faded to S8/9+5, and last minute or two totally blocked by carrier on 6160 from CRI ``German`` via Xian site, really nothing but Chinese fill music from 1800. For this reason, SWGR does not even try to run 6160 at 1800-2000.

One may also contribute by MO or check on a US bank to: Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 5920, Oct 30 at 0636, dead air except for some whine from TOMBS via WTWW, S9+15 direct. One can hardly expect a rational human-in-charge to be monitoring him every minute overnight for some kind of failure (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 15150, Oct 30 at 1520, WMLK is still AWOL, nor heard on 17525 afternoons, 9275 evenings. Missing for at least two weeks, maybe four. Well, DEJOM certainly has said it all over and over, enough already. But is it transmitter trouble, or what? Website worx with ``live`` streaming, but nothing about SW problem; nor in their Facebook, nothing since April 2024 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 2319)
UNIDENTIFIED. 9236.00, Oct 30 at 0644, open carrier except for some JBA clix every three seconds. These mysterious carriers always ending in -6 have continued to be spotted but not re-logged for the record for months; not sure the clix are always there too, but noise level is low enough now to detect them, if not their bandwidth which had been far beyond the carrier where they were centred (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 2319)

** CANADA. 269 MCW kHz, Oct 29 at 0636 UT, JBA dash and ID too weak to copy, but smax of Canadian. DXinfocentre.com and RNA list show only: UDE, 50 watts at Delta MB; and two or three USA (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** COLOMBIA. 6010.01, Oct 29 at 0632, JBA carrier, probably LV de tu Conciencia, which was previously slightly on low side as measured by Wolfgang Bueschel, while R. Inconfidência, Brasil is always on the plus side (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 15140, S9+5 of DA with squeal, Oct 29 at 1455; 11760 dead air at S6/S8, Oct 20 at 1456, no signal on 13780 from RHC where something`s always wrong. At 1900 retune to 15140, `news` in English already in progress so must have started early; no other frequencies on and 15140 has some noise, S9+10 direct; but at 1935 into Knoxville SDR, 15140 is a bit noisy at S9+20/30, to dead air at 1958. At 2215, modulating on 11950, at 2216 dead air on 11760, at 2221 DA S9+10 on 6000. SAWA (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA [non]. 15380, Oct 29 at 1454, R Martí on already, maybe because of hurricane, rather than usual *1600. Direct at 1456 also on 11860 & 11930 but not 13820. 1650 all four are on, VG into Ft Lauderdale SDR. Usually off by 2100 but today still going at 2215 about UNICEF aid to Cuban children hit by hurricane, on 15380, 11930, 11860, 9565, not 13820, all VG direct from Grimesland up to S9+20/30. By 2337 all are off, nor 7, 6 MHz evening channels (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** DENMARK. 25800, Oct 29 at 1451, JBA carrier vs noise level of S4 in USB, S1 in AM mode. I`ve been trying to hear World Music Radio, but no better than this so far. Ralph Perry in IL and Walt Salmaniw in BC have been hearing it. Via Mike Barraclough: ``World Music Radio (WMR) is broadcasting on 5930 kHz 24/7 - Transmitter site: Ishoj, Copenhagen. 15700 kHz Daily 0800-1600 UTC (From October 26, 2025) - Transmitter site: Randers. 25800 kHz 24/7 - Transmitter site: Marslet, Aarhus``
But as of Oct 29 from Alex Miatlikov: ``Denmark's WMR is now on new frequency 3965 kHz, probably 24/7. Plans to start broadcasting on 3965 and 25820 kHz were announced earlier this year. -- Alex, Dnipro, Ukraine`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** FRANCE. 6055-6060-6065, Oct 29 at 0633, S9+30 of DRM noise. TDF has huge number of DRM registrations in B25 HFCC, many of them with more than one CIRAF target at same time. 6060 at 06-07 could be aimed at 280, 148, 333 or 232 degrees from Issoudun. In fact, more DRM then AM: https://new.hfcc.org/data/schedbybrc.php?seas=B25&broadc=TDF (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** FRANCE. 21660 AM, Oct 29 at 1510, MiniTransAt marine weather in French, S9/+10 into Azores SDR, OM voice for a change, with pulsing undercurrent like jamming, but must be Issoudun transmitter defect. By 1535, YL voice is ranking the contestants in order; 1541 ``that`s all for today; à demain`` and music fill of familiar showtune medley, no further announcements until chop at 1600* (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** NEW ZEALAND. 13755, Oct 29 at 0624, news presumably from BBC, on NF of RNZP, S9+15/25 and the SSOB by far, ex-11725 and just as good. RNZI website: 05:59 - 09:58 13755 Pacific Daily 09:59 - 12:58 13755 Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, PNG Mon - Fri 09:59 - 12:58 13755 Pacific Sat - Sun
Pacific means the 35 degree antenna, best for us, and Van/Sol/PNG means 325 degree beam. HFCC displays it differently: 13755 0500 1300 51,56,64S,65S Radio New Zealand RNZ Eng Rangitaiki 38S50 176E25 325 50 1234567 26-Oct-2025 28-Mar-2026 NZL 13755 0500 1300 61S,62,63W Radio New Zealand RNZ Eng Rangitaiki 38S50 176E25 35 50 1234567 26-Oct-2025 28-Mar-2026 NZL (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** NORTH AMERICA. 6950 USB, Oct 29 at 2220, S9+20 rock music. These say it`s Thunder Chicken Radio, including a horrible SSTV image: https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,152807.0.html (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** OKLAHOMA. 1680, Oct 29 at 2030 UT, Virtual DJ Radio ID near ground zero US81 @ US412, following ``Knock Three Times`` and preceding ``Wheels`` (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR)
** OKLAHOMA. 5140 USB, Wed Oct 29 at 1408, no sign of OK emergency net, that Don Moore has been reporting to MARE Tipsheet; he did hear them on Oct 15 while in Kansas, thought maybe weekly, or first and third Wed? Must check Wed Nov 5 at 9 am CST which then will be 15 UT. He logged numerous towns and calls, all W + 3 letters and 3 numbers (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** PERU [and non]. 28555 USB, Oct 28 at 2220, OA4CAJ contact with often heard JG1OUT Tokyo. QRZ.com: ``OA4CAJ Peru flag Peru, ALFONSO CHAU CHU, LIMA, LIMA, LIMA, Li 15038, Peru`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** SAN ANDRES Y PROVIDENCIA. 24940 USB, Oct 28 at 2223, 5K0UA making quick contest contacts. QRZ.com: ``5K0UA San Andres and Providencia flag San Andres and Providencia, IMDX ORG, Iguana del Mar, Casa completa, San Andrés, San Andres and Providencia --- "I am DX" group are pleased to announce an amateur radio DXpedition to San Andrés Island, Colombia, operating under the callsign 5K0UA. Dates of Operation: Arrival and setup: October 15–20, 2025 Active operation: October 20–30, 2025 Departure: November 3, 2025 All the contact info and the latest news at`` https://imdx.org/ (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** SPAIN. 12030, Wed Oct 29 at 2344, ``English language service of Spanish National Radio``, and immediately Spanish! announcement, back to English, discussion about drama. Best by far into FL SDR, tho only S4/S7 off the back of ME beam, and JBA carriers on 17715, 17755; still AWOL from 9690 N American frequency which they keep announcing without embargo, such as just before 1900 opening on 17715 which at that time was good direct (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** TURKEY [non]. 5960, Oct 28 at 2315, trace of a carrier line at Maryland SDR; a little more at another Maryland; Carlow, Ireland hears Chinese only S5/S7, algo on accidentalternate 9610. UTwente offline. VOT must be off the air in English. Something`s always erroneous at Emirler (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** TURKEY [and non]. 5960.002, Oct 29 at 2322, VOT not off the air, S9+20/30 into UTwente, but with 6CI = CCCCCCI = Chinese language Chinese Communist co-channel interference. Just a trace of that into NH SDR, S9+15/20, Efsun playing martial music, 2327 `Sports Panorama` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 7268 LSB, Oct 29 at 0617 latest hurricane info from NWS on Hurricane Watch Net, including Cuba, Haiti, Jamaica, Cayman Is, Bahamas, Turx & Caicos. I had been wondering about Cayman as never mentioned otherwise, luckily just outside the hurricane path. Next advisory to be at ``5 AM`` = EDT = 0900 UT, ID as N8 + something and off. Nothing heard on quick chex of 7098 & 7198 ARRL specified for Carib hurricane traffic. Daytime HWN is on 14325 USB (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2318 monitoring: confirmed UT Wednesday October 29 from 0030.7 on SW Gold Radio, Germany, 3975.003+ S9+15 into UTwente. Not Tue 2330 as originally planned to avoid simulRMI.
Also confirmed UT Wednesday October 29 at 0033 the 0030 on WRMI 9395, S9+20/25 into Knoxville SDR.
Also confirmed Wednesday October 29 at 2053 the 2030 on SW Gold Radio, Germany, 3975.002-, S8/S9 into UTwente; and not on 6160.
Also confirmed Wednesday October 29 at 2100 on WBCQ 7489.9, S9+10/20 into NH SDR; following gospel huxter chopped off at 2100 for ID, WOR.
Also confirmed Wednesday October 29 at 2330 on WRMI 9395, S7/9+12 into NH SDR, following R. Prague in English until 2328. Next:
0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S; 1730 UT Thursday SW Radio, Germany 3975 & 6160.
WOR schedules dated Oct 28 have now been partially updated for non-DST shifts in Europe, not yet until Nov 2 for North America: http://www.worldofradio.com/radioskd.html
Financial support for this non-commercial program appreciated, via PayPal, not necessarily in US funds, to woradio at yahoo.com
One may also contribute by MO or check on a US bank to: Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. WTWW: ``5085 will be back on this Friday in plenty of time for your program [0300 UT Saturday]. No transmitter problem. Was on this last Friday, Saturday, Sunday. George McClintock 10-29-2025`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 7570 // stronger 5850, Oct 29 at 0620, WRMI playing `The Moldau`, great classical music by Smetana, so R. Prague as on WRN? Or is this Encore?? Not sked now, and just before finale, modulation rudely chopped off at 0628*. Dead air for a minute, and at 0629 (not 0630), ``Welcome to Encore,`` from Brice Avery, i.e. start of an hour program, and 0630 intro four love songs by Guillaume Dufay. This does not match either of the two current Playlist displays. It appears that WRMI is running fragments of old Encores as fill music. As usual, skedgrid self-contradictory showing WRN or Legends during this hour. Something`s odd at Okeechobee. Brice, on what dates/weeks, were you playing those pieces? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
UNIDENTIFIED [and non]. 24950 USB, Oct 29 at 2223, WA6TN calling CQ. This was a recheck following songs at 2212-2214, then off & on; and again after WA6TN, music cutting on and off; could be accidental voxing and not from same station. QRZ.com: ``WA7TN USA flag USA, R MIKE CRAIG, 1515 177TH AVE NE, SNOHOMISH, WA 98290, USA`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

DX/SWL/MEDIA PROGRAMS partially updated Oct 27 for standard time in Europe, but not until after Nov 2 for most North American entries, notably WRMI where some frequencies stay at same UT, others shift an hour: http://www.worldofradio.com/dxpgms.html
** AUSTRALIA. 18135 USB, Oct 27 at 2203, ham with Oz accent spells name as MOZ, but never hear his callsign in next 10 minutes, just US contacts who only mention their own calls. No hits on DX Heat/Cluster but QRZ.com can be searched on names, so I do that on this unusual one: 7 hits in their entire database, three in UK, one each in Italy, Brasil, Mexico, and: ``VK3CWB Maurie "MOZ" MILANI MILDURA, VIC. 3502`` which leads to https://www.qrz.com/db/VK3CWB ``VK3CWB Australia flag Australia, Maurie "MOZ" MILANI, PO BOX 2742, MILDURA, VIC. 3502, Australia`` with some interesting comments about CW vs phone, CW etiquette, Non-QSLing, Ragchewing and lots of other odd stuff (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 11760, Oct 28 at 1906, S6/S7 of dead air in English from RHC; NO signals on 13780, 15140 or 15230. 11760 still dead at 1943. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA [non]. R. Martí is off at 2159 check Oct 27, none of the three earlier frequencies, nor the later ones available. Steven Luce says they all signed off at 2100 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** JAPAN [and non]. 11815, Oct 28 at 1410, token English from NHK, news, then rare earths problem. S5/S7 direct but totally readable with VG modulation, atop some CCI, perpetual collision with CRI English via Urumqi, EAST TURKISTAN, land of imperialist ChiCom genocide against Uyghurs and other Moslems. R. Japan aims 235 degrees from Yamata, so we are close to off-the-back 55 degrees. Only one other NHKWRJ English semihour is now at 0500 on 11735, 155 degrees via FRANCE, unchecked yet, but both usually audible in N America despite NHK`s best efforts to avoid us (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** KURDISTAN [non]. 11520, Oct 28 at 1407 JBA talk here, S4/S5 probably Denge Gel via ARMENIA; while on 11545 is S7/S8 direct of militaristic music, probably Turkish jammer (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** OKLAHOMA. RF 17, K17JN-D, Enid`s only local TV signal, as of Oct 28, is still OFF, not a peep since June 11, but still in rabbitears.info without being Xed out, despite my informing them and reminding, which I have just done once again. When on, it would constantly mis-ID as K17JI-D, never noted in re.info either --- now, he`s Xed it:
https://www.rabbitears.info/market.php?request=station_search&callsign=k17jn (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** TURKEY. 5960.002-, Oct 27 at 2300 VOT TS and s/on by Efsun, S9+20/30 into UTwente. Some lite CCI underneath, Chinese? B25 HFCC shows nothing else supposed to be on at this time, Urumqi from 2330. But Aoki/NDXC B25 shows Xinjiang at 2300-2400. A few minutes after 2300, VOT a JBA carrier direct in so-called N American service (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2318 monitoring: confirmed Monday October 27 at 2030.5 on SW Gold Radio, Germany, 3975.001+, S8/9+10 into UTwente, and not on 6160 with ACI.
Also confirmed UT Tuesday October 28 at 0330 on WRMI 7780, S9 into S Texas SDR.
Also confirmed Tuesday October 28 at 1300 on WRMI 9955, S8/S9 direct. Music plays right up to 1300, no ID.
Also confirmed Tuesday October 28 at 1400 on WRMI 9955, S7/S9 direct. From next week: 1400 & 1500 instead. Next:
2100 UT Tuesday IRRS SW via AM Italia 1323; 2330 UT Tuesday SW Radio, Germany 3975; 0030 UT Wednesday WRMI 9395 to NNW; 2030 UT Wednesday SW Radio, Germany 3975 & 6160; 2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW; 2330 UT Wednesday WRMI 9395 to NNW; 0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S; 1730 UT Thursday SW Radio, Germany 3975 & 6160.
WOR schedules dated Oct 26 have now been partially updated for non-DST shifts in Europe, not yet for North America: http://www.worldofradio.com/radioskd.html

** U S A. 5085, WTWW: I may have missed a bit, but I don`t think it was on the air the last three evenings between 01 & 03 UT, UT Oct 26-27-28. What`s wrong now? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
UNIDENTIFIED. 830, Oct 28 at 0644 UT, WCCO getting considerable QRM from another talk station in English, thought I heard AC 701 mentioned - but that`s North Dakota, no 830s there; maybe network show. Best guess would be WUMY Memphis TN, 5 kW ND daytimer. address in suburban MS but site really in TN, AC 901. Has a translator on 105.5 which would account for nighttime programming. WUMY format is now religion in English, ex-Spanish (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
