Re: [IRCA] Current UltraLight Distance Records

Hey John:

Thanks for doing this!

I've got something for these two categories:

  Worldwide Reception from North America
  > Longest Distance Reception @ 10 kW.

Western Hemisphere Reception from North America
  > Longest Distance Reception @ 10 kW. -Western Hemisphere

I just got a barefoot SRF-59 clear ID from 1560, KNZR Bakersfield CA. 869
miles from my QTH, running 10,000 watts at night. 1/6/2008, 0700 UTC, TOH
ID.

Great idea for the graveyards, etc. - clearly in a class by themselves!!!
Plus, those are a very level playing field, since everyone has a hundred
within their grasp all fighting each other to a draw.

Also, a suggestion: what about periodically posting it to the dxer.ca Web
site, since email on the IRCA causes a bunch of carriage returns (or
whatever they're called now - line breaks?), making it more difficult to
read. Maybe a weekly update to dxer.ca?

Gotta get back to the couch!

73 - Kevin
