Re: [IRCA] What's the best Receiver and Antenna?

I wasn't going to answer this, since it is truly a Fools Question,
IMHO. However, when my good friend Nick H-P mentioned the IRCA
Reprint and then "updated it" by mentioning the E1, which I own and
the R-75, which I've used, I just had to drop my oar in the
water. You might ask yourself why Guy Atkins, who owns both an e-1
and an R-75 and ,I who owned a Tentec RX-340 until two weeks ago,
have both been using (almost exclusively) SDR Radios for the past
year.... in Guy's case, a FlexRadio SDR-1000; in my case, a WinRadio
313e. Guy has also owned both a 7030 and an R8B in recent years. At
the recent IRCA Convention, we jointly presented these two stunning
receivers and allowed as how we cannot imagine ever going back to
traditional receivers. If ya want the unqualified best DX receiver,
at any price, you cannot leave out these two medium-priced wonders.
