Logs
** AUSTRALIA [and non]. 15400, May 25 at 2345, JBA S1 talk in unID language, almost the OSOB except for 15570 Chinese = Jamming or RFA Saipan; and 15610 WEWNglish. For 15400, Aoki/NDXC shows:

15400 2345-0015 AUS Reach Beyond Australia ( Bur Kununurra 12357
15400 2345-2400 AUS Reach Beyond Australia ( Bur Kununurra 46
15400 0000-0015 AUS Reach Beyond Australia ( Eng Kununurra 46

This is self-contradictory, as the missing Burmese days 4 and 6 in the first entry, ending earlier at 2400 on days 4 and 6, should become days 5 and 7 for the English segment across the 0000 UT transition in the third entry! But the first entry is ambiguous; do the day numbers refer to the start time or end time? Cannot be both.

More evidence that Au/As stations cannot be relied upon to report the correct UT days for their broadcasts matching the UT times.

Or, who knows, 4 and 6 could be correct after 0000, and 12357 wrong as local days before 2400 instead of 12467, i.e. previous days by UT, in which case the middle entry should be 3 and 5.

After figuring that out, I check how EiBi has this parsed differently:
15400 2345-2400 [daily] AUS Reach Beyond Australia BR MYA ku
15400 0000-0015 12467 AUS Reach Beyond Australia BR MYA ku
15400 0000-0015 We,Fr AUS Reach Beyond Australia E MYA ku
mixing numbers with letters, or blanx if daily.

For Aoki, day 1 = Sunday, but for EiBi, day 1 = Monday. So for the Burmese segment at 0000-0015, Aoki has it on Sun-Mon-Tue-Thu-Sat.
EiBi has it on Mon-Tue-Thu-Sat-Sun, i.e. the same! Likewise, they both agree that the days for English at 0000-0015 are Wed & Fri.

But again, that implies that the shorter Burmese broadcasts ending at 2400 must not be on UT Wed and Fri, but on UT Tue & Thu, contrary to Aoki. Yes, it`s confusing, but you have to be explicit and consistent! (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CHINA [non]. 7210-AM, May 25 at 2343, pop music in English S8-S5, but // 6175 as both are scheduled CRI Spanish via ALBANIA, 150 kW at 280 degrees. Per HFCC, Nelson Roig N1NR and his anti-Castro Cuban exile cohorts I was looking for, should have 7210-LSB to themselves from 0000 and all-night to 1100, unless Kolkata 0215-1215 listed be a minor problem. Aside from pro-Castro Cuban jhammers, of course (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CHINA [non?]. 11610, May 26 at 1635, bandscanning up hits huge signal in Chinese song, S9+5 to peaks S9+20; worthy of MWV but its only Chinese hour on 11610 is 21-22; 1638 Chinese announcement, talk over music continues. This is the SSOB, more than 12160 WWCR, 11760 RHC, 11930 Cuban radio war, 12050 WEWN, 11710 North Korea, but not a bad signal from there. Sked at 16-17 only is RFA Chinese, 250 kW, 295 degrees via TINIAN and of course *jammed per Aoki/NDXC. I hear no trace of a second signal, but think CNR1 jamming more likely (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CHINA. 11880, May 26 at 1641, soft song in Chinese, S1-S3 not // 11610. Sked is CRI Hakka, 500 kW, 252 degrees via Xi`an for CIRAF 53N and 57S, which means Zimbabwe and vicinity! Hakkan diaspora there? (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 11900, May 25 at 2351, RHC vs RHC, mixture of audios from 11950 with `Mesa Redonda` soundtrack, and mainstream RHC from 12000, i.e. leapfrog another 50 kHz lower. Modulation is rough on 12000; 11950 is also defective, overmodulated and squealing, so the sounds on 11900 are no better tho much weaker, managing only S1. Luckily for WEWN, no reverse `frog on 12050 can be heard to mar its own `Cara a Cara` show. Something`s always wrong at RHC.

The 11900 mix will not occur on weekends when 11950 is not on; but what about my Thu May 24 RHC log on 11900 at 0019? 11950 should also have been off after 0000, and I did not note then that it was on, causing speculation about how else 11900 could happen (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** PHILIPPINES. 9380, May 26 at 1249, English talk about Nazi Germany, Ephesians, the last day here for FEBC`s ``Chinese`` service; 1251 song in English about God, 1254 outro title as ``Love Is``, something ``to sing about``, then 1255 finally into Chinese talk by YL at S9-S7.

From May 27, the 10-16 UT FEBC Chinese sextahour is to QSY to 9275, uncovering All India Radio on 9380, where FEBC should never have moved to evacuate original 9430 for the so far imaginary but potentially vital IRDR service (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** TURKEY. 11980.034, May 26 at 0527, poor S8-S5 talk in presumed TÃrkish past 0530+, an off-frequency rampant from Emirler. This is VOT, 04-06 UT on 310 degrees for western Europe, consequently also North America beyond on same azimuth. This transmission probably still runs the otherwise replaced legacy TRT IS before 0400. Maybe by midsummer this will hold up well enough to enjoy the music? (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 1931 monitoring: not confirmed Friday May 25 at 2333 on WBCQ 9330v, as BS continues. (This is the last time I am going to be reporting non-WOR on 9330, altho I may keep checking sporadically lest it reappear without notice, just as it disappeared without notice.)

Confirmed by Ivo Ivanov, Bulgaria: ``GERMANY, Reception of World of Radio via HLR on 6190 CUSB, May 26
http://swldxbulgaria.blogspot.bg/2018/05/reception-of-world-of-radio-via-hlr-on_26.html
0630-0700 6190 GOH 001 kW / 230 deg to CeEu English Sat, poor/weak``

6190-USB again at 1455 check via UTwente: JBA algo, presumably me;
confirmed by Alan Gale, England: ``6190 kHz 26th May --- Hi Glenn, Conditions were very poor on 6 MHz today, with the signal not fading in here until 1451 UT, though World of Radio was quite listenable from then until the end of HLR's programmes at 1500 UT.

Not unusual for 6 MHz at this time of the year, and I suspect that things will get worse in the coming weeks rather than better. Back to burning the midnight oil on 7780 kHz again this coming week then! :-)

Friday's IRRS programme at 1800 UT on 7290 kHz also carried World of Radio 1931 for about 5 minutes from 1825 to around 1830; this programme often seems to carry short snatches of a number of different programmes, and WoR does appear on there from time to time. Alan.``

Confirmed Saturday May 26 at 2300 on WRMI 7780, fair. Next:
Sun 0200 WRMI 7780 to NE
Sun 0310v WA0RCR 1860-AM ND
Sun 1030 HLR 9485-CUSB to WSW from Germany
Sun 1900 WRMI 9395 to NNW
Mon 0130.5 WRMI 5850 to NW, 7780 to NE
Mon 0300v WBCQ 5130v Area 51 to WSW
Mon 0330 WRMI 9955 to SSE
Mon 0400 WRMI webcast only
Tue 0030 WRMI 7730 to WNW

(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 9455, Friday May 25 at 2335, preaching in English, not TOM, WRMI ranging S7 to S9+10 peaks, better than usual, and not // 9395, 7780, 9955 or 5950. Sounds like Bob Biermann, confirmed at 2358 outro as *his* `Your Weekend Show`, referencing disgraced FB; 2359 ``Popcorn`` tune plays past 0001 May 26. IIRC, 2300 Fri was one time `YWS` used to appear on 9395 before it was ravaged by so much other opt-away programming.

One more check May 26 of http://www.tinyurl.com/WRMIfqs whether the secret 9455 transmission has yet made it to the public schedule? NO, despite having been on air and monitored now for a sesquiweek (by me, anyway; no one else seems to have cared/noticed). Hey, maybe Bob has set up his own pirate station? (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 7490.0, UT Sat May 26 at 0000, the 2300 Fri huxter on WBCQ is running overtime; finally faded down/cut off at 0001:45 for canned ID and ``WTO`` opening `AWWW` late; if 5130- now be //, it`s too weak JBA even to recognize the theme; 7490 with Allan`s interjexions during the music, but when it finishes at 0005, a different voice is heard first, which turns out to be Dr Becker who is also in the studio. Announces current date 25 May YOOL 2018, so it`s live. First topic is iHeart Radio going bankrupt by gigadollars. TROTS, from John Carver:

``Listening on 7490 though it was announced after theme music that they were broadcasting on 5130 and 9330 this evening also. Show started a bit over a minute late. Allan, Angela, Dr. Becker and later Tom Barna in the studio. Opening comments about iHeart Media`s money problems and the state of radio in this country. Then Dr. Becker extolled the virtues of the Free Masons for some reason.

Talk about the super station and the rotatable antenna started then, and would be a recurring theme for the rest of the show. Allan stated the new station was being built by one of their clients but again did not name them at this time.

First and only phone call at 0020 asking if the flat-earthers were aware of how propagation supposedly worked. After a long pause, Allan agreed that the flat-earthers were behind the new super station and then went into a long spiel defending their right to believe whatever they wanted to believe and how he would defend their right to believe whatever they wanted to believe and broadcast over the airwaves.

Caller then asked about the Nazis being on the air over WBCQ and Allan went into the story about American Dissident Voices and why he asked them to leave the air. Then he went on to say that Pastor Pete Peters was the only other broadcaster asked to leave the station although this writer thought that Hal Turner had been asked to leave the air also [but since, back on --- gh]. Allan also said he had received calls from the FBI, the Secret Service and the Southern Poverty Law Center over ADV and Hal Turner.

Started talking then about World's Last Chance Ministries behind the superstation and that they would be broadcasting in twelve different languages and that the frequency used would be 9330.

Dr. Becker talked some about the construction going on at the station and both he and Allan mentioned that the feed line for the transmitter cost three thousand dollars a foot. Quick mention of the generator being built and some talk about the power consumption for the new transmitter.

Tom talked about a quick and dirty repair of a satellite cable ten minutes before they went on the air. Then Allan gave us the primer version of the station's lightning protocols.

At one point during the discussion this evening, Dr. Becker stated that the superstation was the largest private station in the world [sic]. He also jokingly stated that WBCQ was moving backwards. Intending to illustrate that while other shortwave stations were downsizing or going off the air, WBCQ was expanding.

This writer thought it humorous as the point that a station was being built to spread the flat-earthers` creed around the world could be construed as moving backwards. Show was off the air at 0059. John, Mid-North Indiana`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 15240-, Sat May 26 at 1635 and earlier, no signal from Radio Munansi, so apparently gone again via WWRB (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 12160, Sat May 26 circa 1940, WWCR-2 with `The Last Radio Playing`, music filler show with contact info for host Allan Gray. SWLing is sparse in the daytime on caradio, only a few bigsigs, mostly disposable gospel huxtering, but TLRP is now a full hour per WWCR pdf sked *finally* updated as of May 15 showing 19-20 UT Saturdays on 12160, and with correct Central time conversions as UT -5!
http://www.wwcr.com/program-guides/WWCR_Program_Guide.pdf
TLRP has three additional times (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. 10115-USB, May 26 at 1257, weak 2-way in Spanish; hams who think this is a phone band? Or simply intruders. Hams *should* have a 30m phone band, perhaps another 100 kHz, as it`s a long way from 40 to 20m, with drastic propagation differences. 10115 is zero-beat to some CW which I don`t even hear until stepped down to 10114 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. 15730, May 26 at 1303, strong open carrier, but gone at 1304* recheck after trying 15230 where RHC is much weaker. Later in day, 15730 is used both by RHC, and by VOA: more likely Greenville now with a transmitter test (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

KOREA SOUTH [and non]. 6135, May 23 at 1147, noise jamming only at S6, no
trace of a carrier from V. of Freedom, which is presumably still on
reactivated 6045 where I do have a carrier with some music at S4-S5, no
jamming audible here but Ron Howard reports VOF and jamming on 6045 at
1050-1220+ today.
(Glenn Hauser, OK DX LISTENING DIGEST, May 23)

PAPUA NEW GUINEA. 3260, May 23 at 1138, song at S5 vs noise crashes at S9,
but R. Madang is stronger than it used to be as Ron Howard has noted, in
fact the SSOB; compared to 3325 JBA carrier from Bougainville or
Palangkaraya; and no NK signals audible on 90m, altho detectable on 105,
and/or jamming on 75, 66, 49mb.

Logs
** CHINA. 13530, May 25 at 1323, JBA OOB carrier with flutter, presumably CNR1 *jamming as Aoki/NDXC has Sound of Hope:
``13530.217 2110-1550 TWN * SOH Xi Wang Zhi Sheng Chi ? 1-7``
And this one was not way off-frequency like that. It`s the only SOH listed between 13270 and 13620 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 9805, May 25 at 0121, heavy pulse jamming against nothing, despite Radio Martà active here only at 10-13 UT. Something`s always wrong at the dangerous DentroCuban Jamming Command (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA [and non]. 13660, May 25 at 1325, RHC Spanish is VP, i.e. leapfrog mixing product of 13740 over 13700 another 40 kHz lower; at 1350 I can hear the reverse match at 13780. Something`s always wrong at RHC, but at least today not including FM spurblobs all over 22m.

13670, May 25 at 1326, mixture of VP music and I think RHC audio, maybe overload, or protracted 11-12 UT weak fundamental transmission? Aoki/NDXC shows at this hour both CRI English via Kashgar and PBS Xinjiang Urumqi in Uyghur, from East Turkistan: surely not really both! (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 13740, May 25 at 1400 I check whether the Cubans are colliding with each other? Yes! RHC past scheduled 1400* with Sonido Cubano music is much louder than CRI English relay from *1400, and this goes on until 1404:45 when RHC stops just as CRI news is ending, and 1405 `Roundtable` starting, TGIF. Something`s always wrong at RadioCuba (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 1931 monitoring: not confirmed Thursday May 24 at 2330 on WBCQ 9330v, as Brother Scare rages on. WOR has now been AWOL for two weeks from this timing, so I can only assume it`s been canceled without notice. Since WBCQ does not notify me, perhaps some would-be listener can ask Allan if and whenever he will be carrying WOR on 9330? The schedule is never up-to-date:
http://schedule.wbcq.com/index.php?fn=sked&freq=9330
which also shows Full Gospel Hour, really gone from 9330 for 7490.

This means that there are *no* WOR SW broadcasts to be heard in North America between 2130 UT Wednesday, and 2300 UT Saturday when WRMI resumes on 7780. But there are always much more reliable podcasts anywhen. Rather:

Sat 0629 HLR 6190-CUSB to WSW from Germany
Sat 1431 HLR 6190-CUSB to WSW from Germany
Sat 1930v WA0RCR 1860-AM ND
Sat 2300 WRMI 7780 to NE
Sun 0200 WRMI 7780 to NE
Sun 0310v WA0RCR 1860-AM ND
Sun 1030 HLR 9485-CUSB to WSW from Germany
Sun 1900 WRMI 9395 to NNW
Mon 0130.5 WRMI 5850 to NW, 7780 to NE
Mon 0300v WBCQ 5130v Area 51 to WSW
Mon 0330 WRMI 9955 to SSE
Mon 0400 WRMI webcast only
Tue 0030 WRMI 7730 to WNW
Tue 2030 WRMI 7780 to NE, 5950 to WNW [or #1932?]
Tue 2130 WRMI 7780 to NE, 5950 to WNW [or #1932?]

Full schedule for WOR on all outlets, not just SW; podcast linx:
http://www.worldofradio.com/radioskd.html
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 9395, Thursday May 24 at 2046, surprised to hear Radiogram beeping, during an hour when WRMI is supposed to be relaying RAE in voiced Italian. Must not be IBC which does this only in final pentaminute of their semihours; nor Broad Spectrum Radio which emits only in the nightmiddle. I keep listening and there are only beeps, with some pauses to change subject, no voice announcements even at closing, but at 2058.5 a giveaway minute of a jazzed-up version of ``Back Home in Indiana`` tune, which must be Kim`s signature. 2059.5 canned WRMI ID by Biermann.

O yes, besides usual Friday at 2030 on 7780 & 5950, Kim`s SW Radiogram had a special emission exactly one week ago for the NASB meeting in Indiana, on his schedule for Thu May 17 at 2030 on 9395 WRMI, per http://swradiogram.net/

However: the Thursday May 17 agenda at NASB Elkhart per
http://www.shortwave.org/index.php/annual-meeting-info/
shows the Radiogram ``live`` demo at the wrong time, 1700-1745 UT, with something completely different when the 9395 broadcast really aired at 4:30 pm local EDT:

``1:00-1:45 pm - Digital Broadcasts on Analogue Shortwave Transmitters - presentation by Dr. Kim Andrew Elliott, producer of "Shortwave Radiogram" (recently retired from VOA), including the live decoding of a Radiogram broadcast

1:45-2:00 pm - Galcom International Update and Portable FM Transmitters - by Dave Casement

2:00-2:30 pm - Adventist World Radio Update by Dr. Dowell Chow, former AWR President

2:30-3:00 pm - International Broadcasting Bureau Shortwave Projects, by Gerhard Straub, Director, IBB Broadcast Technologies Division

3:00-3:30 pm - Coffee Break

3:30-4:00 pm - 360-degree Rotatable Antenna Systems - presentation by Jerome Hirigoyen of Telediffusion de France

4:00-5:00 pm - Information about the new Gospell GR-216 DRM receiver and a 2018 worldwide recap of DRM news, presented by Christopher Rumbaugh of the DRM North America Group.``

I should not have been surprised, as this is only another instance of a special booking/preÃmption on WRMI NOT being removed the following week, not restoring the original programming. The server could well go on running it further weeks unless someone complain, least of all RAE (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 7505, May 25 at 0125, WRNO with different programming than before: it`s Rick Wiles of TruNews, who gave up on SW almost 15 months ago! He is conversing with another gospel huxter, about plans to broadcast from Bethlehem for Pentecost(?) in a few days if the technical arrangements can be made to get his 2-hour TV program on the air via satellite. By 0129, on to Trump-conspiracy wacko political discussion, as `TruNews` of course really means FakeNews. Still the same at 0205 and 0247 chex, so apparently this is the audio track of his 2-hour TV show, replacing Mawire and anything else on WRNO.

I don`t listen to WRNO except to divine whether it`s on the air, off-frequency, badly modulated, or in Chinese, but checked now after this tip from Ed Insinger, NJ, May 23:

``Hi Glenn, Been enjoying the Yahoo group loggings and wanted to let you know that last night I was listening to WRNO on 7505 kHz. At 0150 UT, I heard a great program entitled NEXT TECH NEWS. Featured stories included the latest advances in drone technology in Sacramento, California, (drone use by government to stop crime) University of Berkeley, (the us of autonomous weapons) UBER (designing an almost silent drone that cannot be detected by the human ear) Florida (using drones to spray for the Zika virus in Vero Beach, with a chemical payload of 1,500 lbs!) and MIT (virtual reality goggles placed on drones for training artificial intelligence technology) Excellent presentation, I wish it would have continued beyond 15 minutes [later per TruNews website, seems that Next Tech News is part of that --- gh]

At 0207 UT, I heard a voice from the past -- that being not since the Presidential election last year. All of a sudden, Rick Wiles came on. I remember him from a program on WRMI, broadcasting so-called "Tru News," then he seemed to disappear. He was somehow affiliated with a station called Son Powered Radio and even had a postal address. Despite this, I never heard from the station or him, despite several reception reports. Guess he was only looking for donations, not reception reports. Hmm. 73's, Ed Insinger``

Strangely enough, WRNO website does have a program schedule for each day, but as of May 24, the latest one there is dated May 1:
http://www.wrnoworldwide.com/tuesday-broadcast/#more

Note that it has the wrong time conversions for Germany in PM instead of AM and vice versa. In ``CST``, meaning CDT, it shows on the air from 8 pm to 8 am even on Sunday, when I heard it much earlier. Searching entire website on Wiles gets NO hits. So his abandonment of SW is over --- is he just buying time on WRNO or buying it? Why have they stopped putting up daily program schedules since May 1?

Background from DXLD 17-10 of March last year:

``I have a question. What happened to True News on WRMI? Is it
a case of another religious broadcaster not paying the bill?? I have
been hearing rock and Pop music for several days (at least) and then I
almost threw up hearing Brother scare (thankfully it wasnât all day).

Tattenbaum, March 7 [2017], DX LISTENING DIGEST)

9395, March 2 [2017] at 0717, this WRMI is playing classic rock, Dylan, not // World Music on 5850, 6855, 7730. TruNews is gone! Until end of Feb, had been 24/7 on WRMI-6, 355 degrees, since Global 24 crashed a couple years ago. TruNews was initially on two more frequencies, then cut back to this one. TruNews still shows on the WRMI web schedule. Rather, Flowing Streams Ministry of which TruNews is/was the flagship program. Nothing on the TruNews website now about SW, or any radio broadcasts, but plenty of far-right extremist un-true slanted ``news``. Has Rick Wiles fallen out with WRMI, or simply a financial decision, SW no longer worth it??

9395, another check March 2 [2017] at 1421 finds more classic rock,
``Stairway to Heaven``; 1423 break at odd time for WRMI ID by Bob
Biermann. Never announces the music so I have to identify it: then
``It`s My Party`` by Leslie Gore; 1430 a WRMI ID mentioning 9395
specifically; 1434 ``Desiderata`` (you are a child of the universe) --
- NOT the parody, shux. 1438 ``Little Green Bag`` by The George Baker
Selexion; 1440 ``The Monkees``; 1443 some doo-wop; 1446 ``Smile a
Little Smile For Me, Rose Marie`` by The Flying Machine, etc., etc.

All the announcements are by Biermann, and suspect he is programming
this now. Biermann`s regular hour is ``Your Weekend Show`` which
started on TruNews, then expanded to various times (including mid-
week) on other WRMI frequencies, so he has survived the sinking ship
of TruNews. Surely a temporary filler until another full-time client
for 9395 can be found. A golden opportunity to get some
journalistically legitimate Public Radio service on SW!!

{dream on; this was the initiation of Oldies, which at least, later on, would start relaying VOA News at unpredictable 5-minute spots. If WRMI FB comments are to be believed, Oldies are a big hit}

I look for anything about this on WRMI`s FB, but nothing found (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 1868, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

I discovered around 1300 this morning that WRMI 9395 kHz was playing
nothing but music instead of airing TruNews. I contacted TruNews about
this and they said they are no longer airing any programming on
shortwave. WRMI is still running music at this time so it remains to
be seen what will ultimately air on 9395. 73, (Jim K5JG, Gerke,
Carrollton TX, March 2, WORLD OF RADIO 1868, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

Okeechobee, Florida. 9395 kHz, March 2nd, from 1710-1800 UT. Radio
Miami International. We were expecting to hear Un-Tru News from Son
Power Radio. Instead WRMI was playing golden oldies from the late
50's, 60's and 70's (no 80's songs yet). Signal was S9+S10. Between
every two one or two songs, the WRMI ID was given. So what? No more
TruNews from Sun Power Radio on that frequency? We say GREAT!! (JK and
Josh, near Atlanta, GA, March 2, dxldyg via DX LISTENING DIGEST)

- - - - posted to WRTH Facebook, by Mauno Ritola, on March 2:
"According to info received by Jim K5JG (ptsw list) from TruNews, they
have stopped transmission on shortwave." (Ron Howard, CA, ibid.)

If you'll remember, Rick Wiles finally got the license for that
station in St. Kitts and it was said that it also had a TV studio on
the grounds and Wiles implied that they would be moving equipment to
the site (John Carver, IN, WORLD OF RADIO 1868, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

St. Kitts should be safer than Florida when the apocalypse or New
World Order hits! {never mind hurricanes} (Glenn Hauser, DXLD)

In my post from yesterday about TruNews going off shortwave, I forgot
to say that I heard Rick Wiles mentioning on his program late last
week that he was getting ready to go all-in with streaming the
programming to digital devices rather than via radio. He said they
would continue radio broadcasts only on an FM station that his
ministry owns, located in Ocala, FL, I believe.

There was no hint in that broadcast that he would be exiting S/W so
soon as he had mentioned the new effort would launch around May 1st.
73, (Jim K5JG, March 2 [2017], ptsw yg via DXLD)``

[end of March 2017 historical flashback]

25 May 2018:
Search of http://www.trunews.com finds very little about St Kitts, just a few news items, and general search shows hardly anything St Kitts related to Wiles since 2016y.

WRTH 2018 4-line entry about it on page 377:
``SON POWER RADIO (Rlg.)
Flowing Streams, P O Box 690069, Vero Beach FL 32969-0069, USA
[wow, he`s really fond of 69s in his address! What`s with that?]
Tel. +1 772 569 8880
web: sonpowerradio.com
L P: Doc Burkhart
MW: Conaree, St Kitts 820 kHz 10 kW (F.pl.)``

So the St Kitts MW station is *still* a future plan, let alone SW from there? Is MW 820 on the air at all?

Doc Burkhart? Where have I heard that name before: O yes, in 2002 I heard from him at WJIE. We did not hear from or about him again until 2015y when he was with TruNews, and nothing since this log:

``11580, Oct 25 [2015] at 1338, I catch part of `Wavescan` on WRMI, which is tacked on Sundays only to this transmission, as Jeff is interviewing Doc Burkhart of Son-power Radio about their St. Kitts 820 kHz station, ex-Radio Paradise (tho they had adopted that name on some of the `TruNews` SW broadcasts). Seems the container containing a ready-to-go broadcast studio we heard about before, is currently being stored at the WRMI Okeechobee site before final shipment to the island, where they are ``working hard to get on the air`` with Flowing Stream Ministries, of course including Rick Wiles` so-called TruNews`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)`` (Glenn Hauser, May 25, 2018, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 12105, May 25 at 0113, weak VP S7-S9 music --- must be WTWW-3 reactivated, but barely propagating. Yes, I barely make it // 5085 WTWW-2 which is S9+30, with Ted breaking for a commercial, and flanked by the plus/minus 12.9 kHz spur carriers. And WTWW-1 is also running on 5830 with SFAW at S9+30. So all three transmitters are on the air at once! Remains to be heard whether 12105 will now be regular, or as before, vanish again after a test(?) (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

Logs
** CHINA. 15320, May 24 at 0025, S4-S1 with flutter in Chinese, presumed CNR1 jammer against VOA Chinese via Philippines this hour only. It`s the OSOB except for 15120 China via Cuba (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 14295, May 24 at 0027, JBA carrier where there was none a couple minutes earlier. I`m looking for the third harmonic of 4765, R. Progreso which now has its carrier on too, but music modulation does not come up until 0033:40; and 14295 is just too weak to match, but I`m sure that`s it. Something`s always wrong at RadioCuba; but harmonix of Rebelde 5025 are rarely reported: 10050, 15075 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 11760, May 24 at 0017, surprised to find RHC AWOL from here, but still going on 11700, 11830, 11840, 11850 --- there is a JBA carrier on 11760; exciter, or CNR1 as also listed? Something`s always wrong at RHC.

11880, May 24 at 0018, surprised to find this frequency still on air in Kriyol // 5040. Supposed to stop by 0000 after English. Something`s always wrong at RHC.

11900, May 24 at 0019, weak signal in Spanish at S0-S1, confirmed as RHC by // 11840, 12000 and 11760 which has come back on by 0021, but soon fades out. Does not work out to be an ordinary leapfrog from any pair of 25mb frequencies ---- unless it is 11760 over the 11830 spur of 11840, another 70 kHz beyond? But there is none on 11920 which would be over 11840 itself. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 9553 & 9587 approx., May 24 at 1248, extremely distorted matching parasitic spurblobs out of 9570 relay of CRI. Something`s always wrong at RadioCuba (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 13700, May 24 at 1302, RHC is S9+20/30 of dead air; modulation not applied until 1307.5. Meanwhile other RHC on 13740 is roughly modulating at S9/S9+10 with some squeal. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** IRAN. 13730, May 24 at 1335, low modulation at S7-S9, in Russian, still past 1419: it`s VIRI as scheduled 1320-1420, 500 kW, 336 degrees from Sirjan, also good for us far beyond Moskva (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** PERU. 5980, May 23 at 2356, JBA carrier from Red Radio Integridad via Radio Chaski, Urubamba, until autocutoff at 2358:43.5* (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** TURKEY. 15450.045V, May 24 at 1257, VOT in English talk, music, but VP S4-S6 and wavering slightly (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 6993, May 24 at 0000, JBA carriers, at least two beating from slightly different frequencies. Often audible but not logged since last September as in DXLD 17-37; from presumed WH2XWF, experimental 164-watt transmitters with several locations in Florida, to study ionospheric disturbances, never IDing, nothing but dead air. The original info about these was in:
http://www.w4uvh.net/dxld1616.txt
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 1931 monitoring: confirmed Wednesday May 23 at 2100 on WRMI 9955, poor S9-S7; also barely confirmed on WBCQ 7490.03, VP S7-S5 in noise. Not confirmed at 2342 on WBCQ 9330.1v, as TOMBS continues // 7570 WRMI. Next:

** U S A. 7489.9, UT Thu May 24 at 0006, WBCQ`s Spanish program `Antena DX` in progress with ``boletÃn DX``, about a SW transmitter site in Holland being dismantled, name sounds like Sejuel[??]. Will need 4 months to take down 17 masts not used since 2007y and cost 100 kiloeuro. In 2012, defense took over the canal park, will be used for military/ship communication worldwide. A new television station will be on there from 2020. I relistened to it via
https://www.podomatic.com/podcasts/programasdx/episodes/2018-05-21T07_17_13-07_00
to get the details, despite annoying music bed constantly. Is this really about Flevo? No source was cited!

Later after :12 an item voiced by Luis Pineda in Panamà about Deutscher Wetterdienst, altho not named, schedule on 5905 & 6180 ``potencia de 10 kilohertz [sic]`` with e-mail address as info@dwd.de the first time, repeated as info@dw.de which implies Deutsche Welle, but they are really at info@dw.com; the first one is correct for DWD per WRTH.

The show`s Programas DX page continues to display the wrong WBCQ day, time and frequency: ``WBCQ The Planet Martes [Tue!] a las 00:30 UTC, en la frecuencia de 5.130 kHz``. WBCQ schedule also has it differently wrong: ``5130 Th 0030 0100 UTC We 08:30PM 09:00PM EST [sic] Antena DX``. I already went over all the wrong info about WRMI as well.

Wouldn`t it be great if all stations and programs could get all their schedule info coÃrdinated and accurately published?? (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 7730, UT Thu May 24 at 0009, kids singing with keyboard, audio distorted so I can`t even be sure they are in English. Carrier seems stable enough, with BFO. Followed by a song in Portuguese which makes me suspect this is World Music fill instead of as scheduled for 7730 on System D, `Sounding Alarm` at 0000-0030 Thu; at 0013 not // 9455 which is Oldies at S6-S7. Recheck at 0036, 7730 is less distorted during Wavescan. Which had just played on: 9955, May 24 at 0015, WRMI with pulse jamming during AWR Wavescan (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 9455, May 24 at 1246, WRMI Oldies at S4-S6; while 9395 is Brother Scare at S9/S9+10. 9455 continues to be a secret underpowered transmission, but at least keeps Oldies going when 9395 often opts out for otherstuff. Now if only Bob could announce the correct frequency (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 13845, May 24 at 1308, as soon as RHC has managed to modulate on 13700 [see CUBA], I notice competitive WWCR dead-airing here, except for considerable hum, altho was OK a few minutes earlier as I observed super-signals on 13845 and 15825 due to HF sporadic E boost. I leave a spare receiver on 13845 all hour, and WWCR remains dead until revived at 1359 for ad and ID!

Dirty little not-so-secret: most radio stations will not pay a genuine human being to control output, become aware of to fix any problem ASAP --- Of course, who would want to really listen to that crap? But not even by remote silence alarms! (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 1130, May 24 at 1229 UT, KLEY Wellington KS is still SNAFU (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. 7155.50-LSB, May 24 at 0002, two hams speaking Spanglish, i.e. mixing two languages fluidly within a single sentence (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. 15809.94, May 23 at 2002, big carrier with tone, or rather several carrier peaks with BFO, also: 15808.34, 15807.62, 15806.84, 15806.07, 15805.30; also 15810.72, 15811.49 --- full range of audibility is 15802-15814. Most average 0.77 kHz apart. So what is it? (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
