About this site

Why metric? As most of the worlds population calculated in meter, this site is a metric site.
Having said that, I wouldn't, of course, change any original writings in feet, but in those cases I will add the metric conversion in brackets. Which means I am in for a lot of calculations, I guess.

Why English? As many in the world have a working knowledge in English, often as a secondary and third language, this site is published in English. As English happens to be a secondary language to me too, I pray for tolerance and correcting messages.
