Logs
** CANADA. 15034 USB, June 6 at 1448, CHR, Trenton Military is back!
Only S5. After absence for almost two months, first noted missing on
April 8. Since then I have checked at least once every day in routine
bandscans, and occasionally night frequency 6754 USB. Both Aviation
Weather and Terminal Forecasts from the usual airports. ID at 1451 and
``time, 1450 zulu`` -- only one minute off. Listened for a couple
minutes and did not hear any ``no report received``s, tho that would
be routine for at least a few cases. Just in time as the only other
Canadian VOLMET, Gander is closing permanently June 12 at 0901*.
However, 15034 USB not audible at 2211, nor on 6754 USB, nor either
into Maryland SDR at 2302. But at 2349, 6754 USB is on and VG into
Maryland. I was going to look up sked info in EiBi but both had
already been deleted (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NEW ZEALAND. 9700, June 6 at 0630, RNZP right after BBC relay, is
running about two syllables behind // 11725, as I switch from one to
the other on same receiver, why? Still not ``supposed`` to be on both
during this hour per own sked. Reply to my previous report about BBC
relay running late:

``I noticed that the BBCWS relay via RNZ today was off by a whopping 4
minutes 37 seconds approximately as my PC clock may be off by a second
and the RNZ ToH pip was at 0600:01. After ToH pips and ID it was a
crash into Newsday. Here's 5 minutes:

http://www.popshopradio.ca/20250606_0559_UT_9700_khz_New_Zealand_RNZ_BBCWS_Relay.mp4
Tony Pavick, Hope BC`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. 88.3, June 6 at 1900 UT, KJIL ID, as its translator here
in Enid has just moved from 88.7, presumably because of less CCI for
it. But now we may forget about otherokies on 88.3 or DX; and may
impede reception on 88.1 & 88.5. Will also have to run our RF feeders
elsewhere than 88.3, maybe 88.7. WTFDA just notified FCC axion of 88.7
K204GU being replaced by 88.3 K202EU. KJIL is a gospel huxter on 90.1
in Copeland KS, with lots of translators. WTFDA FMDB shows 17 of them
plus 6 non-translator relays not only in KS & OK but also in adjacent
CO & TX across the OK Panhandle (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** SPAIN. 17715 & 15500, Fri June 6 at 2209, token English from SNR
equally VG direct, S9+10/20, and // weaker 15520, much weaker 15390.
Interview about artificial reefs, 2219 that it`s World Ocean Day being
celebrated (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 11785, June 6 at 2208, no signal direct from VOT English;
nor on 11780, 11790 or accidentalternate 9875. But could it be under
Brasil 11780? No, none of them heard either into UTwente at 2220.
Erroneous at Emirler (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2298 monitoring: confirmed first
SWBC, Friday June 6 at 1307 the 1300 on WRMI 15770, S8/S9 direct.

Also confirmed Friday June 6 at 2045 the 2030 on IRRS SW via AM
Italia, 1322.994+, S7 and noisy into UTwente.

Also confirmed Friday June 6 at 2207 the 2200 on WRMI 9955, S9+10/20
direct, undermodulated.

Also confirmed Friday June 6 at 2250 the 2230 on SW Radio, Germany,

Financial support appreciated, by MO or check on a US bank to:
Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 USA

Or via PayPal, not necessarily in US funds, to:
woradio at yahoo.com (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. WTWW, George McClintock informs me June 6 that since 5085 is
operating well, WORLD OF RADIO should appear UT Saturday June 7 at
0300. and 5085 is in fact on at 0133 check June 7. The corresponding
day frequency 9475 still won`t work: needs some mechanical repair to
the tuning mechanism, a new chain. Trying to convince TOMBS for 24h
operation on the other WTWW, 9930/5920, especially since WRMI is so
direxional that they don`t cover the west coast. But TOM people do not
understand how SW worx (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. Pre-`AAAWWW` chex of WBCQs, June 6 at 2350 into Maryland
SDR: 3265 off, 5130 off, 6160 off; 7490 -77 Hz = 7489.923 S7/S9 with
FKB; 9330 S9/+12 with WLCR Portuguese. By 2353, 5130 -85 Hz = 5129.915
carrier is on, only S4/S7, and from 2355 IS & ID. FKB`s one-minute?
warning tone, as he is apparently live, at 2359 cuts him off for ID
etc in only half a minute!

UT Sat June 7 at 0000, on 7490-, WTO theme, one word, ``ready``. 0001
talkover about ``peace, love, and understanding``, ``we keep throwing
those wet snowballs into hell...`` Free speech, etc. 0003 says
simulcasting, live; it`s a hot and puffy? day in Deland of Fla,
humidity 90% and temp 90+. Angela hates air conditioning, turns it off
after Allan turns it on in the house. Has also been hot in Maine, but
always cools off at night. WBCQ is not in debt; credit card advice;
0012 ``the butterfly effect``. 0024 contact info, says on 7490 & 9330,
but not 5130 which is carrying `Intelligence Report` since 6160 is out
of order. So I switch to 9330 which is stronger than 7490. 0025
datestamp as 6 of June 2025; a couple songs including Carly Simon. At
around 0035 recheck, 9330 is back in World`s Last Chance! already, in
English. So I resume 7490-. 0040 rails against ``nitwit Biden`` and
all the Moonbats/Communist/Democrats who are responsible for all
that`s wrong today but keep getting re-elected, he cannot understand
why. Also despises southern Maine and the Democrat governor for the
whole state. 0052 items from Free Radio Weekly, but it`s last week`s
issue. He doesn`t understand what I meant by ``five pirates at once``.
0059 chopped off for canned ID, and an ad, presumably from the Hal
Turner feed, and then he`s bragging about his coverage via WWCR (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 9340.43v, June 6 at 0632, S5/S7 of open carrier,
seemingly related to 9330.00 WBCQ/WLCR, which is S9+15 (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 15134-15157 approx., June 6 at 2212, OTH radar clickery.
No broadcasters audible in that range (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. June 6 at 0643+, bandscan encounters numerous JBA
signals on the 16m band as we approach the Shortest Night. I match
them with EiBi listings, but no firm IDs:

17520: CRI Italian via Kashgar
17650: CRI Mandarin via Kashgar to Europe
17710: CRI English via Kashgar to SE Asia
17720: CRI German via Kashgar
17740: CRI Mandarin via Xian to SE Asia
17772: DRMish noise: 17770 CNR1 DRM Mandarin from Dongfang, Hainan
17840: CRI Mandarin via Beijing to Siberia
17850: RFI French to C Africa
17865: CRI French via Kashgar to Europe
18200: SOH Taiwan, but probably CNR jammer

From now and for an unknowntime, at least for 3 years, I will not use any radio except the remote SDRs forDXing. Recently we moved from the village back to the city in a space thatprohibits the use of desktop DXing, a place flooded by high levels of noise inthe LMHF bands. The radio is now used mostly for FM, for news listening.we runpolitically lively condition with always very interesting twits every day ..

Logs
** BRAZIL. 11780, June 5 at 0154 into Lima remote, RNA/RNB going from
token English to Spanish, part 3 of the interview with someone in
Belém, Pará. It seems this is being repeated over and over (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NEW ZEALAND. 9700 // 11725, June 5 at 0600 tune-in direct, RNZP
still on two at once contrary to own schedule, during BBC promos; 5+1
timesignal very late ending at 0602:22! compared to WWVH, and into BBC
news. Not clear where the TS originate, but totally wrong and should
not have aired as if accurate. Must be quite a delay in getting BBCWS
into RNZ. I think BBC news would have started at 0601 in real time
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 2298)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2297 monitoring: confirmed UT
Thursday June 5 at 0130 on WRMI 5010, S6/S9 backwards into Maryland
remote; into Lima, Perú remote which supposedly covers 6.5-30 MHz,
S8/9+10 but noisy on 5.01 MHz. Recheck Maryland at 0157 already in
music fill, so WOR must have been cut off early, how early?

Also confirmed Thursday June 5 at 1630 on SW Radio, Germany,
6160.000+, S8/9 into UTwente but with self-imposed het. Lesley

Financial support appreciated, by MO or check on a US bank to:

Or via PayPal, not necessarily in US funds, to:

UNIDENTIFIED [and non]. This is more a note-to-self, admittedly. LW
bandscan June 6 from 0612 UT finds the local noise level slightly
diminished, so MCW beacon carriers audible on: 251, 255, 332, 395, 404
kHz. I know what they must be from TX, OK, KS. And JB strong enough to
copy calls from: 293 FBY Fairbury NE, and 407 HRU Herington KS - but
only when tuned to 405 USB instead. Both 25 watts (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)
